Shania has a nice voice and is an excellent performer, not to mention her good looks, but that is it.  Most singers from the last 30 yrs have a nice tone but they are very mechanical. They lack the warmth and the emotions that the classic singers from the 40's 50's and 60's possessed. This song belongs to Bobbi Martin.... hands down !

I agree with some of the other comments, (I don't usually make negative comments), but something when wrong here, I love ST & I F**kin' LOVE this Bobbi Martin (R.I.P.) classic. But this version sounds like PWL on crack, they should have used PWL, (producers of Rick Ashley, Kylie Minogue, Etc), & this would have been fabulous, instead of forgettable, sorry Shania. Geez, I usually don't post any negative comments on youtube. However, I gotta say that this is a terrible arrangement of the gorgeous Bobbi Martin song! The "banging" in the background is drowning out Shania's voice, and her voice has too much reverb! Just awful!

yeah this was 1989 when she was in a band called "LONGSHOTS" she was in this band to feed her brothers and sisters after her parents died. and there is nothing wrong with your opinion, its not negative she did the best she could and its decent but not the best. she has had much success since though.
