Sometimes a man like Ed comes along, paints hyper-realistic Sci-Fi mag covers AND gets into animation long before the computer, only to watch computer animation pale by comparison. Idea men like Emshwiller are far and few between.

He was very well liked at Cal Arts, a place that embraced his vision and work too!

(there is also the basis for the idea by Mac/Linux of the multiple Desktop! Maybe they got inspiration by this animation?)
