Back in those days the fashion was hoodies, baseball hats, sweater vests, and skate shoes. Google "1997" or "Jade Tree Records" and read up son!
My sister and friends were "emo" back in the 1990s and they looked nothing like Good Charlotte and certainly didn't shop at Hot Topic!
