JIMMY i'm not talking about teams i'm not talking about LAKERS or Bulls i'm talking that MAGIC beat Jordan in the most important nba awards while they used to played against each other. For example:
MVP NBA REGULAR SEASON: MAGIC 2; Jordan 1, and that's not matter what team do you have beside that LAKERS never went back to the nba finals or conference finals without MAGIC, but Bulls does (1994) and they lost in seven games by two points against New York "Knicks" without Jordan.
@dontsaynobodytoldu That's not a fair comparison. Lakers never ran out of all-stars players but Bulls only had 2 in that 7 years, if you want to compete these two, you should compare 91-93, 96-98 Bulls with Lakers in 80s with championship.
It's too bad Jabbar was too old to play in 91s, otherwise, Bulls could really prove they could beat the show time.
What a shame he retired with Aids and a hurt James Worthy. Had he stayed his assist record would have never been touched, and we would have seen him and Jordon back in many finals together. I guarantee you Magic would have won some of those.
1.Jordan 2. Kobe 3. Oscar 4. Johnson 5 Bird 6.West 7. Havilchek 8. Cousy 9. Ervin 10. Zeek I grew up a lakers fan watching showtime, and Magic is not better than Jordan. And you cant compare big men to Pg's its apples to oranges. Its like saying whos better peyton manning or rand moss?
@chefKevR The fact that you say you grew up as a Laker fan, and put Kobe ahead of Kareem and Magic, and as the 2nd greatest player of all time, makes you a fan. A fan that is clueless, absolutely clueless about basketball.
One could argue that Wilt is the greatest of all time, if he is not then that's a discussion between MJ and Kareem. Funny how the teenagers see something that's overhyped and automatically name it the "best ever". Hell, Shaq should be higher than Kobe.
@75samuel75 Im clueless and you cant read. I thought I made it clear I was not comparing guards to big men. Did you miss that. I made a analogy to help explain why I would not compare them for you too! I think its impossible to really compare big guys to guards, big guys are always more valuable expect maybe Jordan. And Im 34, far from a teenager my son is a teenager, Dick.
@flako299400 yeah but when magic faced jordan in the playoffs he was way past his prime infact he was on his last season and probably had the HIV virus already/ my point was jordan and his bulls never got through the great 80s teams in the east only till bird and his celtics and thomas and his pistons got old that he was able to get through the tough east and faced an over the hill magic, hardly in his prime
@flako299400 keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better what do i care what you think/ but as a fact nope he wasnt other players were better maybe not as espectacular but were better/ just like its a fact that he never got past the east in the 80s when basketball was better mothafukaaaaaaaaaaaaa magic was better robertson was better shit he average a thriple double if jordan was better why didnt he do that?
Wait so Kareem was still playing when magic got in the league and he played alongside Kareem (kareeem abdul jabar)? and im pretty sure of this but wasnt bird still playing with the celtics as well? and was isiah thomas also in the league too? if so then back then most have been both crazy and amazing now a days ppl think these players are great because they havent seen the players back then and how they played, with kareem, bird, isiah, magic, and also jordan tho it was later on.
Don't you love announcers' hyperbole? #6: he passed "through 8 or 9 players" to James Worthy. Really? Magic is one player; Worthy is one player; and it really went through 9 other players? So, what there were 11 on the court?
How many years will it be before we see another Magic Johnson? A 6'9" point guard with great leadership, unbelievable basketball IQ, amazing court vision and passing ability, a wonderful personality, clutch scoring, and a killer will to win. We'll see another Jordan (Kobe?) before we see another Magic.
You have to read this!! you won't believe it!!! don't stop now!! make a wish - - - - - - - . . . . . Now that you have your wish it will happen! in exclatly 4 days. just copy this and paste it to 4 videos!! only one wish use it wisely and it WILL HAPPEN!!! but if you break the chain your wish will be the opposite

@TheJufe magic being his humble self would say oscar is the better player. I never watched oscar so I wouldn't know I you can't tell by highlights. stats help but thats only a slice of the pie. even jordan gives it up to magic, two of the greatest.
my top ten list 1.michael jordan 2.michael jordan ( cuz he was that good :P) 3.oscar robertson 4.kareem 5.magic 6.bird 7.bill russel 8.wilt 9.hakeem 10.jerry west 8.hakeem 9.jerry west
@TheHound66 1. MJ (the messiah of basketball) 2. Wilt (most prolific offensive force ever) 3. Bird (best shooter, smartest player ever, allround-king) 4. Magic (eye, skill, enthusiasm, pure winner) 5. Kareem (second best big man) 6. Big O (the eternal standard for allround play) 7. Russell (one word: Defense. second word: teamplay) 8. Hakeem ( most skilled and graceful big man ever) 9. Shaq (most powerful and explosive low post player) 10. West (top offense, top defense, top clutch)
@TheHound66 ...if shaq is the most dominant player you have ever seen, then you must not have seen wilt play...wilt makes shaq look sick, but then again wilt makes everyone look sick...
@TheHound66 Agree with the list. But Julius Erving needs to be added to this list. Excellent shooter and excellent defense. Imo, Magic is the best player to play the game due to him being able to play all 5 positions, dominate them, dominate Philly (I saw that rookie year series) and win MVP in that series in his rookie year. No one has done that to this day. Magic and the players from his era, the big men changed the game. Playing small guard skills.
Haha, no. Putting Shaq and not Hakeem in was and is retarded. Shaq couldn't guard him in his PRIME and neither could David Robinson, so much for being the most dominant.
@TheHound66 Yeah, and Hakeem Olajuwon is not the best center to have ever played the game of basketball... And every center on the planet tries to copy his moves 'cause he was a technically poor player.... DID YOU FORGET HIM OR YOU MISSED HIM CAUSE HE'S NOT AMERICAN??
@TheHound66 Magic could not guard every position, do you think he really could have guarded a all-star center like Hakeem or Kareem. Matter of fact magic was not even a great defender at his own position. Jordan is number one simply because magic according to you, played with the best big man, and a HOF in Worthy while Jordan had one HOF and has one more ring than magic. What makes Kareem better than wilt or Russell. Kobe won title twice with no HOF on his team, has to be better than Zeke.
@chefKevR dude he played center inhis rookie year to seal the tittle 4 the lakers and destriyed he had like 40some points over 10 boards 7 assists steals IN HIS ROOKIE SEASON and jordan never beat the celtics pistons etc in their prime something magic did/ last thing 80s teams like the lakers celtics pistons were waaaay better than the teams jordan actually beat sonics jazz etc/ last thing jordan beat magic in his last season in the NBA and probably had the HIV already NO WAY JORDAN BEATS MAGIC
@5042024 If you watched the game you would see that magic rarely guards the center in that game. To your next point, the Bulls beat the pistons after the pistons one back to back titles. Youre right teams in the 80's were stacked. So how do you expect jordan, woolridge and paxson to compete with Bird, mchale, parrish, Johnson, I could go on? Magic did not have aids in 91. So Jordan did beat magic. Finaly, jordan won rings with no center, in a league with olajuwan ewing robinson barkleyand malone
@chefKevR 1st magic won the tittle in his rookie year and had a huge part in doing it at 20yrs old/ 2nd he retired in 92 due to contracting the HIV so its safe to say he already it had while playing in 91 and dont forget that was his last season way over the hill then and the laker team had an OLD worthy and no jabbar clearly not the 80s team 3rd it doesnt matter whos on your team if you get beat thats that you got wooped 4th like i said he only beat the pistons after they got old
@5042024 Were going in circles now. Again pistons won back to back nba tittles 89, 90, the following year they lost to bulls, how are they old? You keep saying magic did this and that, like he didnt have help from one of the best centers of all time. It is also not safe to say he had hiv in 91 if you knew the facts you wouldnt say that. Last you say magic lost to bulls because worthy was old and kareem was gone, but then you follow by saying it doesnt matter whos on your team
1.magic johnson 2.mike jordan 3.dennis rodman 4.hakeem Olajuwon 5.larry bird my startingfive my bench players 6.kobe bryant 7.derek fisher 8.lebron james 9.shaq 10.tony parker
@seetow01 Spoken by someone who has NEVER seen Barkley play. "92 dream team MVP" kind of puts him in the top 10 alone. Barkley in his prime would dominate any PF you can name, past or present
My top 10 all-time 1. Magic 2. Michael 3. Bird 4. Kobe 5. Jabbar 6. Chamberlain 7. Russell 8. Oscar 9. Tim Duncan 10. Shaq Honorable mention: Lebron, Malone, West, D-Wade and Dr J. I know this list is is up for debate but it's a pretty good list !! I included some of the current players of todays game that have had a great impact Kobe, Shaq or Duncan have won the past 7 of 9 championships!
my top 10 players 1 Magic Johnson 2 Larry Bird 3 Michael Jordan 4 Hakeem Olajuwon 5 Wilt Chamberlain 6 Isaac Thomas 7 Scottie Pippen 8 Glide Drexler 9 Julius erving 10 Dominique Wilkins
i changed my list in another comment but it aint here.. Okaii well here it is again 1. Magic Johnson 2. Julius erving ** 3. Wilt chamberlain 4. Micheal Jordan 5. Bill russell 6. Hakeem olajuwon 7. Karl Malone 8. Shaq o'neal 9. Larry Bird 10. Scottie pippen And it's not in any particular order..
my top 10 players.. 1. Magic Johnson 2. Erving Johnson 3. Michael Jordan 4. Scottie Pippen 5. Karl malone 6. Hakeem Olajuwon 7. Larry bird 8. Lebron James 9. Kevin garnett 10. Wilt Chamberlain Any one agree with me ?
lol at lebron james on that list. he may go down as one of the greats, but to put him in that class already, im not so sure. karl malone is good, but he is outside the top 10. id have kobe bryant somewhere on that list - even at number 10
I like Jordan, for me, he is better than Johnson, but I like Johnson a lot too, I'd like to play as a point guard like him, but in general I think Jordan... =D'
Ur fucking retarded why would compare someones prime to someone as a rookie...fucking moron

2) MVP NBA FINALS: Magic 2; Jordan 1

5042024 6 months ago
@5042024 If you watched the game you would see that magic rarely guards the center in that game. To your next point, the Bulls beat the pistons after the pistons one back to back titles. Youre right teams in the 80's were stacked. So how do you expect jordan, woolridge and paxson to compete with Bird, mchale, parrish, Johnson, I could go on? Magic did not have aids in 91. So Jordan did beat magic. Finaly, jordan won rings with no center, in a league with olajuwan ewing robinson barkleyand malone

@chefKevR 1st magic won the tittle in his rookie year and had a huge part in doing it at 20yrs old/ 2nd he retired in 92 due to contracting the HIV so its safe to say he already it had while playing in 91 and dont forget that was his last season way over the hill then and the laker team had an OLD worthy and no jabbar clearly not the 80s team 3rd it doesnt matter whos on your team if you get beat thats that you got wooped 4th like i said he only beat the pistons after they got old
5042024 6 months ago
@5042024 Were going in circles now. Again pistons won back to back nba tittles 89, 90, the following year they lost to bulls, how are they old? You keep saying magic did this and that, like he didnt have help from one of the best centers of all time. It is also not safe to say he had hiv in 91 if you knew the facts you wouldnt say that. Last you say magic lost to bulls because worthy was old and kareem was gone, but then you follow by saying it doesnt matter whos on your team

GTFO Lebron. where's Barkley? or Hakeem Olajuwon?
gtmsnba13 1 year ago
LOL hakeem @ number 6? no way is barkley in top 10. he's a good player, but overrated because of his personality and lack of size at the pf spot
seetow01 1 year ago
@seetow01 Spoken by someone who has NEVER seen Barkley play. "92 dream team MVP" kind of puts him in the top 10 alone. Barkley in his prime would dominate any PF you can name, past or present

pippen and malone better than Bird and Hakeem? Never!
knutomatik 2 years ago
lol at lebron james on that list. he may go down as one of the greats, but to put him in that class already, im not so sure. karl malone is good, but he is outside the top 10. id have kobe bryant somewhere on that list - even at number 10

I love the part where Earvin Johnson and Magic Johnson are the same person. Maybe you meant Julius "Dr. J" Earving? Still, your list is bad.

I like Jordan, for me, he is better than Johnson, but I like Johnson a lot too, I'd like to play as a point guard like him, but in general I think Jordan... =D'
