@ajas95 in this case, the referee acted very quickly and appropriately with issuing the send off. This technique is done in youth soccer to prevent fights and brawls when it is clear who the aggressor is and is sent off immediately. The ref did a great job in getting the player sent off and away from the angry opponents. But i will tell you for a fact as a referee myself, this technique doesn't work in adult games.
@ajas95 cause fights dont happen in football. and if they do, they are highly condemned; its not a game for animals, its for humans with ball skills. he may well walk away grinning, but he could end up in serious trouble for that. (banned for life, huge fine etc.) that's the civilized approach to dealing with this, not a emotionally driven, unpragmatic pitch brawl.
