But because these protesters were asserting it was their constitutional right to protest anyway and that the "pigs" were trying to oppress them, that's where resisting arrest and disorderly conduct come into play. They aren't violating the constitution, the problem is you just haven't read it.

Of course, the arrests wouldn't have been so "violent" if the protesters had protested peacefully. In fact, there wouldn't have been ANY arrests.
