  • I like brawl better because it's more entertaining for 1 person..

small town = not many people playing brawl or melee

  • There's something else called a DACUS!

  • @hypasonic123 .. . . . . .

and are you sure no one has made it already?

    glide toss?

the thing snake does where he glides across the floor?

  • i can't get whats the point of the vid, where is the special technique? can someone explain pls?

  • @Johnny573159 sliding while spot dodging. Potentially used to put you in a better spot to counter the opponent when they end up missing. Most characters can view this as a god send. Namely Pikachu or D3. It's a very small thing, but any and everything is always a big step in becoming a better player.

  • @Phaiyte ah ok, i think i got it now, ty^^

  • @Johnny573159 It's especially good for sneaking in some throws. I forgot to mention that's why I chose mostly Pikachu and D3.

  • @skyty1991 U mad?

  • @skyty1991 youre stupid arent you

  • we love brawl, its even better than melee, right? and about the video well am i didnt get is jejeje

  • i like brawl better than melee because its different. does everyone hate me for that?

  • Not at all! The controls are WAY more responsive in brawl. And if you go to a tourney, Nobody is god-like!! I also like brawl more :D

  • wow. i thought everyone would be like, "fuck you brawl scrub". (someone already did that on a different video.) and thats why i like brawl so much, its fun and requires more creativity with items and more strategy and theres no cheap little tricks like wave dashing.

  • @22imbored i don't use items though. It gives you an unfair advanteage if one spawns near your opponent.

  • I remember the time when ssb 64 was out, nobody fight. I think wavedashing divide trhe smash community

  • @22imbored

Is chain throw cheap to you ;o

  • @22imbored theres cheap little tricks. There's meta-knight. :D

  • @RandumCheese what would be awsome Fearce Daity link in brawl!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @RandumCheese Both of your complaints regarding melee make me think you have the simple problem of not yet being good at melee. Once you understand melee you will find that melee is more responsive than brawl, and other players will no longer seem god-like. Melee just takes more skill to be an average player.

  • Yes, that's a stupid reason to like Brawl more. Even though I'm probably running into a troll, idgaf.

  • no, but most of we melee smashers got mad couse of the practice weve got and too much tecnique that is uselesss in this game .I like brawl too

  • yes they should have? shut your mouth ?

not my fault if you didn't play melee, and started with brawl

  • They shoulda left wave-dash alone, one of the best moves you could possibly master.

    R.I.P wave-dash </3

  • no it wasn't

  • agreed. just look at the way aniki played. some of the greatest matches played and he used virtually no ats at all. and ken, pretty much undesputedly the best melee player didnt freaking wavedash everywhere like a lot of the people who thought it was so uber. not to mention the sacred combo and the ken combo were both at free. brawl does just fine, you just have to get its depth from other places. like beating metaknight (halfjoke).

  • this is a retarded statement, lmao.

  • guilty gear sucks, limp dick

  • Seriously, this "technique" has no use and is really nothing special.

And all the suggestions in the description can be achieved with a no-dash sidestep and/or a rolling dodge.

But still, it's good that you actually tried sharing the thing with the Youtube community, but next time, find a technique that requires more skill and has more uses.

    Keep it up.

  • Wave dashing was jumping and air dodging *that made you slide at varying distances*.

This is less significant than wavedashing, although I guess it could work decently enough on characters with little friction like Luigi.

  • But how many people actually use low-friction characters like Luigi?

Zebra, it's "touche," and try putting a little originality in your comments, rather than restating what's already been said immediately prior.

I'm going to have to agree with RavenXGhost here.

  • sorry, just realised my mistake

god i look like a fool

  • er..Marth and DK are both relatively low friction and they are high tier.

  • 2shay sir.

  • rrrussia's got a point :(

  • tuche, actually, and u have a point

  • its touche actually

  • Pretty good actually reminds of our old wavedash buddy

  • Yet another nerd that wets their pants because the game creators Fixed yes i said fixed a bug called wave dashing and without your to shit to compete on brawl

  • let me say this you are a fucking idiot i dont care if this gets erased crazyfootfan is a fucking idiot you fail at life and was problably just too lazy too figure out how to play melee you fucking idiot. yes i have to say that multiple times...........

    fucking idiot

  • You are the idiot u dont know me i could wave dash but im not stupid enough to think its not glitch

  • It's not a glitch. If it was, we wouldn't be able to put it in brawl (which we can and have, but with the use of hacks). It was because the way the air dodge worked in melee, moving your character.

Call us all stupid, but the real pros know, wavedashing was no glitch. I'm sad it's gone.

  • The reason they took wavedashing out was so shit people could have a better chance online the only problem now is the online is one the worst going and shit people lose anyway lol but it was a glitch still

  • I agree but to be honest I like that they took it out it makes it more fair...im not like amzing at doing it and people did it better so it was unfair to me lol

but it does even up the game without it

  • Yea, it does. Now Brawl is more Strategy than Technique.

  • Is that to say that Melee is less strategy than technique? If you believe that, you are dead wrong.

Search up "m2k vs silent wolf". Silent Wolf is arguably the most technically skilled person to ever play Melee, without assistance of AR, but he loses to M2K. There are even a few times where he dash attacks M2K's shield, (while he could do multiple drillshines and break it instead).

    To be continued...

  • No. To me, Melee allows for a wide range of play styles. Strategy is highly crucial in both games, but in Melee, strategy and technique are balanced out evenly. Brawl isn't as hectic as Melee, which gives favor to strategy.

  • Another example, search up "mango vs silent spectre 1.3" and watch the first link. Around 2:40, the crowd starts shouting "DON'T GO DOWN THERE!", but Jeff (Silent Spectre) plays an aggressive CF, so he charges down there. What happens? He dies 30 seconds later.

Also to add to the wavedash discussion... I hope you guys realize that wavedash wasn't the "auto-win" button in Melee. The ATs that sped things up were the ones that canceled lag, such as L-cancel and edge cancels.

  • Dr. Obvious that's gold

  • Give him some credit, I think for characters that slide naturally this would be a better option. Anyone that can do a sliding usmash can probably use this to their advantage (Luigi, snake, wario, etc.)
