@hks85 Just glide. Like any normal plane. Version 1.5 also includes ballistic parachute system, for aircraft and occupant recovery.

You really need to work on your landings. You are coming in way to hard. It should not slam down like that, it should touch down GENTLY like a helicopter.

Yes, this was in the early days of Verticopter test-flights. I also tried to demonstrate extreme slow-down capabilities along with pinpoint landings of this plane. To truly master such landings, you need way more experience flying, that's true. But I thought it served to demonstrate the technology... decelerating from full forward speed to landing speed in 30 seconds was the main point of this exercise, so the touch-down wasn't really my priority. :)

i really like the design its nice. what i like about it is that its safe to, if the engines fail you can glide it down gently.
