A 9.275 for Scherbo? Loved his gymnastics but isn't 2 touches down considered 2 falls (I guess not in the '96 code). Honestly in 2004, I'm sure Scherbo wouldn't have gotten anything higher than an 8.5.
@audie83 I agree, although I could do without those shorts! However, he as a joy, perfect wording. And when he smiled it changed his whole look. I will say he looks a whole lot like the pic of Kerri Strug currently on the right hand side of this screen, lol.

10's were given out back then like it was nothing, anything below a 9.5 would be considered a bad score

@pivotpro7873 They had really stopped giving out 10's pretty much following the '92 games. There wasn't a single 10 handed out in Atlanta.

I don't understand Vitaly's final score-he had two major errors touching down twice-shouldn't he have scored less than 9.00?

Thanks again for posting this!!
Ioannis Melissanadis's FX routine is my all-time favorite men's floor exercise. I love his choreo and of course his awesome tumbling!

Well-some may find his style 'feminine' but I don't have a problem with it. His routine was a joy to watch.
