Wow. My band use to play shows with these guys and I went to college with them. I have one of their cassette demos, but somebody stole my older one. This was one of the locals ( of Arcata CA) favorite songs. It is MOST DEFINITELY Mike on vocals. Making me feel old. Listening to this after all these years makes me realize how influenced by HR of Bad Brains Mike really was.
@RuneScape560 It is Patton....I was in the same high school as him. He graduated '86, me '87. I was there when the band formed(they were originally 2 bands: Torcher and Fiend) My best bud Corey Barker did most of thier early post art. I even own the record this song was on! =]
Classick! Check out the band Grum "Blank Ritual" and others tracks off the "Unworship" CD. The vocals are like putting Patton and Anselmo voices in a blender w/ a spike of metallic originality.
j'écoute de la merde alors, même si ce sont des versions plus récentes et carrément grandioses, j'écoute de la merde et j'en suis une grosse aussi. Je part de ce pas m'acheter un cd de Larousso
Woah, I have Bowel Of Chiley - but it must be incomplete because I don't have this song on there. It still sounds great - but it also goes to show what a good recording/mixing job can do.
I think two different versions were released: one in 1987, which is likely the one you have; and one in 199X without the band's permission, which I think this one is. I looked at the track listings and Carousel isn't on the original version. It does sound great though here -- jazzier than the later versions.
So this is the raw mexican sounding version of Carousel? Still sounds good to me :-).

Oui, c'est bizarre, mais tu ne peut pas comparer Mike Patton de Mr Bungle avec Villneurve. Idiot!
Le fait est que c'est original et tu n'as pas besoin d'ecouter si tu ne l'aime pas!

He likely has the Rastacore Records one from the nineties - I know for a fact that the '87 one had this track on it. It was track four.
