There is a word in the english dictonary which is used far too often...........iconic!!!!!! Nowadays an artist releases one song and automatically there famous. Judy Garland was the best there ever was. She could act, sing and dance and Liza Minelli should be very proud of herself and the legacy that she has continued. Good Girl!!!!!!! I think that alot of people need a reality check. This is more than a talent. this is a family legacy!!!!!!!!!!

I think that this appearance was a live performance of the artist and no lip-sync.

The problem of "time delay" between picture and sound may have been incurred during the conversion of video recording from TV to a file for YouTube.

During the appearance on TV, no asynchrony was evident.

She does lip-sync to her last recording o that song. Just a couple of months before this TV show. She is ib great shape and wonderfull voice

Meine Güte! Wie alt ist Liza Minelli jetzt? Ihren Auftritt im Musical Cabaret hab ich damals schon als kleines Kind gesehen und das ist schon fast 40 Jahre her. Aber damals war ihre Stimme noch nicht so verräuchert :D.

The Playback was from the recent Liza at the Palace Shows. The Music was Full Playback but Liza sings over the Playbacktrack.

Shouldn't we simply enjoy Lizas performance and her music?

IT IS Lyp Synch. And what's the deal? Liza wouldn't take a risk and sing without her musicians. Besides, every major star lyp synch on TV Shows. And...what the prik headed camera director that focused on the instruments when we want to see LIZA!

That's got to be lip-synched. Watch the beginning when she "yells" "5-6-7-8-" she isn't holding the microphone anywhere near her mouth. Funny how they still have these variety shows in Germany - flashback to the 1970s for American viewers.

No it was not a variety show. It was an entertainment show with many different artists, classical music (Paul Potts) and pop. Liza sang two songs and soon she'll begin a tour through Germany.

Yeah but then at the end of the song when shes saying thank you, the mic is far away too and u can hear her say it faintly just like when she says 1-2-3-4 so i think it was LIVE

I agree it's lipsynched. Just because it sounds IDENTICAL, and I mean IDENTICAL in everyway, to the Lizas at the Palace soundtrack version on CD. I wouldn't be able to tell from her performance alone, she did it so well!
