I like to use both links, but it depends on the terrain and whether it's team battle or not. Regular link is good for team battles, and toon link is great by himself.

@Random90sKid Yeah and it was the same in Melee with Young Link, Cpt Falcon and Gannon and Ike and Marth, get over it. There's a huge difference in speed, recovery and damage dealt per attack that makes these 3 sets of 'clones' different from each other.

Toon Link takes no skill. All of the toon link mains I personally know are cocky idiots who spam his dair, uair, fsmash, and usmash and think they're godlike for getting a retarded dair spike. And if you've noticed, most toon link mains ONLY use toon link. They don't have enough skill to have any secondaries and don't even want to play as any other character, just because toon link is stupid.

@shadowgoat130 Yeah, but toon link can get away with just spamming smashes or running away pulling out bombs all day. People can't do that with ganondorf, bowser, and alot of other characters.

I can understand your view on secondaries, but think about it. You're limiting yourself to one character and missing out on the true brawl experience. Yeah, I have a main that I do my best in, but I sometimes use characters I have little knowledge of and still win against my friends.

Also, toon link has a pretty low learning curve, attracting unskilled players to think they're skilled using him. All of the high/top tiers take some time and techniques to master to be good at, but toon link can get away with spamming almost any move in his moveset.

Toon link is a good character...... except when he is used by the general public. Always using down a in the air, spamming arrow, not having any fucking skill whatsoever, 'sign'....... However if he is used correctly which 99.9999999099% of people who use toon link match the above criteria that i listed don't use him correctly, then he is pretty rape.
