I have been saving alot of my food scap for about a month now. I am waiting on my worms to arrive. Do i keep my scraps in the frigg or do i put it in a 5 gallon bucket till the worms get here? Thank you for any info.
How did you make the geotextile rock bag for the bottom of the bin? Could you possibly make and post a small video on the specifics of making this style bin?
Great Video, Love The idea of recycling, reusing and reducing! Worm bins are great, Even better if you have chickens or plants! My chickens get my extra Worms and then the Egg Shells Go back to the Worms! I got a lot my info on Worms, and Vermicomposting over at HomesteadearthDOTcom
Every bit of plant based food waste should be re-used in the composting system. You paid good money for the food you buy at the store. Great idea, why not re-use that food waste for a home garden instead of putting your hard earned money into the land fill!!!
Love it, well done and congrats to Concordia. I have followed your progress and applaud you efforts. I hope to link to your efforts as we are just beginning what will become a larger scientific project for us. Thanks for being involved and socially responsible. Best of luck in the future.

If Sydney and Travis flirted any harder, they would be the ones copulating in those bins. Sydney comes on strong in the begining.

Worm love rotten food. The more rotten it is, the more microbes are residing on the food source.
