Wow! That was an awesome rendition of "The Hockey Theme", as done by BNL. I love this rendition. I also love original the original one used once as CBC's old theme for "Hockey Night in Canada" and currently used for the "NHL on TSN". I also love the new HNIC theme, "Canadian Gold".

Oh, Jesus Fucking Christ. I mean, Barenaked Ladies are a bunch of lamers--to say nothing of the ugliest fucking band on earth. But this cutesy ass-raping of the former HNiC theme is a new low for a band that's made a handsome living out of finding new bottoms to scrape in old barrels.

A just panel would sentence Barenaked Ladies to be raped to death by trained animals. It's a tough penalty, yet still fair.

Point is, BNL have very little talent left. They used to be a great band years ago, but hey, maybe this gig will help they buy more cocaine so they get some better ideas.

TSN has ruined this song, though I know that if I saw it on CBC it would be like old times. Its funny, TSN bought this song to make their hockey programming more popular, but really it hasn't.

Oh, and the new HNIC theme is really quite bad also. CBC BUY THE RIGHTS BACK!

TSN better not get any bright ideas from this. They got the rights for the theme, let's hope they keep it enjoyable. I don't mind a remake, infact CBC was using their late 80s version until last year, with some minor additions.
