  • Brilliant kites.

  • Watched some of these guys flying kites in the park at the end of Riverside Point near Clarke Quay in Feb 2011. Fascinating and somehow unreal to see them flying silently in the dark covered with lights.

  • Where to buy one? Havent found any site where it isnt out of stock :/

  • are chinese rc kites crappy and cheap?

  • Depends, some of the stuff these days are pretty good from what I hear, it all lies in the brand.

  • what is the cheapest that i could get one of these?

  • I once saw this long time ago while i was in Singapore, this dude not sure if they were one of you were playing in an open air field in Singapore.. was so impressed with them. I think now I should be able to buy it...will drop by the Ace website.

  • what Kv motors did u use??

  • can u tell me whats the title of the music?

  • I honestly don't know, it was given by a friend. =) I think it was his own remix

  • It's originally an 80s top 40 song. I forget who did it.

Google some of the lyrics and the name will probably pop up.

  • IWANT BUY THIS PRODUCT IN MEXIKO

  • you can actually.... they selling this even for overseas del......

  • wouldnt that be a rc plane????!?

  • hm, well its the same concept, but the difference in material makes its flying characteristics a lot different than regular planes =)

  • nope.... its a kite

  • So then an ultra light is a kite?

    And also a hang glider?

  • These kites were initially developed in Singapore by the company GoFlyKite.

  • actually it not developed by goflykite......ace hobby was the first to fly in 2005 national day... goflykite started flying at 2007 but was set up in 2005..

  • They were originally developed Chris Chan and friends in Singapore and subsequently sold by 'ThatHobbyShop' They are called "Firefly" use LiPo batteries and brushless motors. There are a few for sale in UK

  • i live in New York city... where can I purchase one of these joints? any website to order or store to go to ???

  • hm, i really have no idea, sorry. You mighyt have better lucky finding it online though. under "aero kite" "rc kite" "I.F.O." etc. good luck! =)

  • LOL... sorry, but who thought up remote control kites?

  • lol, honestly? I think it came from Europe, was supposedly meant to be a cheaper alternative to RC Flying, iono, I dun really play these things, I just film my friends who do...haha.

  • wow this is the gayest music I've ever herd. The song sucks and the lyrics are even worse

  • Whether or not it's nice doesn't really matter, the song is a remake of the original UK Top 10 evergreen classic written in the 70s by the JIGSAWs, n like all 70s songs, hence the lyrics. I thought being Grandma's Man, she would have told you this, but I guess she didn't think u were that special enough.

  • I will have to get one of those.

  • sorry to be odd. but arent they technically "wacky" rc planes? theres no string... and i didnt know kites had a power source ;)

  • Lol don't look at me for the answer, I didn't name them. The guys who designed them(in europe I think) gave it that sorta name.

  • They work on batteries and they react differently to normal rc planes.

  • haha

  • lol they look like a space ship

  • it looks like a giant flying light up butt

  • Lol I wouldn't know. But yes they can go up to such prices but I think u can get them at around $300 plus for a slightly lower end model. =)

  • is this the same ones on men's health mag singapore? they printed that it cost about $610 for this product. wow...good to look at but too much to own one.

  • Wow! What plane is that? aawesome.

  • lol their called Aerokites, some of my friends here did a segment for our national day(independence day) celebration last year where they flew it around during a certain part of the show. =)
