loved the first one! thats insane how you could just sell a matching number 69 z28:( That car is worth a lot of money for sure. i remember my pop sold his mint purple 1970 challenger for a bit of nothing tripping off that crack! Now that he's 10yrs sober and a minister, her totally regrets selling it!i just hit 22 & will have my true 69 z28 dz302 by the end of next year and i will be keeping it for as long as i live...whats next for you?
Thank you. I still have my 69 Z/28, the car I sold was the LeMans Blue 69 SS 350. If you see my recent videos, I did a walk around and a few driving videos of the 69 Z/28.
Congrats on getting a 69 Z for yourself, you will really enjoy the car just check it out really well before you buy it. There are probably at least 50 fakes, clowns, clones or what ever you call them, to every 1 REAL 69 Z/28 you'll find out there for sale.
hanks for the advice, i will be doing ground up inspections on it. there is a rally green one im going after:) hopefully it'll still be available once i get all the cash. im also going for a 70 chevelle ss396. have you done anything 2 your Z?
I have mostly just done lots of clean up on this car. I color sanded and buffed the 25 year old paint, I replaced the timing chain, fixed all the oil leaks cleaned and painted the 302 etc.. I have fixed anything that didn't work on the car etc.. This car is a really nice unmolested #'s matching car & is the 4th REAL 69 Z/28 I have owned over the last 30 years. I am really trying to keep this one as original as possible.
Just kidding, it was my daily driver and when gas jumped above 3.00 I got nervous and sold it and bought a 2000 Camaro SS convertible to drive daily. It only took me about 2 weeks to get to where I hated the new car so I sold it and built the Red 68 Chevelle I have the video of. Same story, I drove it until I was tired of it & sold it to build the Red 68 RS. etc..
Very nice cars! I like the 69 302 z/28! my dad has a yellow 69 z/28 rs, origainal 302 DZ block norwood ohio car. 25,698 original miles! Date coded Muncie M-21. will be mine when 16, only 12 now.
The 69 Z/28 is the valuable but my favorite in my 68 SS/RS 396, It is by far the most fun to drive. If you run it through the gears just once, you can't pry the smile off your face. LOL...
My dad has a #'s matching 69 Z/28, RS, yellow with black stripes. He got it in '95 and keeps it in like pristine condition, lol. He's got a '68 SS 396 as well. 375 hp version. I bug him every weekend in the summer to get them out, very nice cars you have there.
Cool!!! I like your Dads taste in Camaros LOL... I have owned my Yellow 68 SS/RS 396 since Feb 1980. I drove it all through High School and it is by far my favorite out of the 40 plus first gen Camaros I have owned. I hope to start a full on rotisserie resto on it here in the next year or so.
My Yellow 69 Z/28 is my forth Real 69 Z and I owned it since late 1998.
I would love to see your Dads cars if you get a chance to post them.
I am planning to put my 68 RS up for sale here in the next month or so. There are 11 videos of the restoration of this car, here on youtube if you would like to see it.
My car is more rare and a true classic and its the only 1970´s musclecar made by FIAT in Italy with aid of Ferrari
Wanna see a car sounding 1000x nicer and going 10x better than most american muscles...?
Please go to the youtube account of:
fiat130abarth
Thats a Fiat 130 3200 Super Sports Coupé V6 with
Ferrari engine!!! Fiat luxury racer 130 3200 V6 Pininfarina rules 4ever!!! Fiat 130 V6 2+2 has nicest design too! Especially the 130 is so rare and exclusive...you will never see one. :) :)
They sure are neat cars. I have owned over 40 first gen camaros over the last 30 + years and I never seem to get my fill of them. Keep looking and I'll bet you will find one that is what you are looking for.
yeah these days that would probably be a little more practical with these stupid gas prices. im 14 so im driving next year and me and my dad are restoring a '69 Z. we have the dz 302 block and its in perfect condition. but we're gonna build an LT-1 350 for it so we can use regular gasoline. by the way, i like ur 69 ss sitting there too. my dad used to have both the Z/28 and the ss.
You could order a 69 Z/28 with any of the three Muncies M-20 , M-21 or M-22. This car was ordered with the M-21 close ratio. Truthfully I wish it had the M-20 wide ratio. The car would be much more street friendly with the 3.73 gears.
Nice collection you got there. You should stop by my channel and check out my 69 Z. She's a real one too. Not all original, but I love her anyway. I love the blue on that ss 350, real sharp looking car.
