I have this phone now, it is awesome but after awhile it gets annoying. it shuts down if you delete more than 8 messages at a time, and the battery life is low. So I Am Now upgrading to the Droid Incredible tomorrow! So long Alias2!

i have had the envy touch for about a year now, but i just want something new. I'm about to trade for this phone. Envy touch is a great phone but i just get tired of having the same phone over time. lol i'm looking forward to much better battery life.

I would recommend it... its really good. Its not that pretty but its not too heavy and it only crashes if u send a text at the same time u get one and ur phone is locked. itll shut off then turn back on lol. Its got a good battery too. And its like 30 bucks now

It's a great phone. Except the battery life, but you can always buy a larger battery and that works just fine. I love mine.

***To add: The battery takes FOREVER to charge from 0%-100%. Mine often dies frequently as well. The glitches it has are weird- i'll go to the contact list and press a letter to jump to that group of names and it just sits there. Sometimes i'll open the phone and my screen will be lit black, then i'll close it, open it again and it will come back to normal. It's a VERY slow phone. The processor in it takes a long time to jump between txt mgs' and other features of the phone. But it works alright

****To all potential buyers- I've had this phone since October and i'm not super pleased with it honestly. It glitches on me a lot. It's hard as HE|| to text fast on the phone because the buttons don't really have a pushing feeling to them. You push them and they barely press in enough to feel it so when you text, you think you're pressing it but you're not. You can miss a lot of letters in a word. The text switching option has never given me grief.

It has a 2.0 megapixel camera and were not sure of you can record and make it your ringtone but a lot of sign's are pointing to that but if not Verizon MAY send a download to upgrade it if they haven't already.

I don't know if you're referring 2 me or collinsup. But with my phone that verizon replaced w/the alias 2. My battery would stop charging even though i had it hooked up 2 my charger. This same problem happened w/all 3 of my env phones evry time i recived a new 1. & yes Collinsup asurion is my insurance =S it was actually them who switched my replacement phone 4rm the LG env 2 the Alias 2. I had the SCH-740 and the back of the phone wasn't rigged. It was smooth plastic. I often dropped the phone because it had no tactile surface for your fingertips to grip on to.
