It's hypocritical by who's standard? The problem with Christian or the Christian concept is that if you are not doing what others think you should be doing, you are judged. Using what is considered bad language does not change your faith or your relationship with God. Ultimately, your spirit has to decide what is right and what is wrong according to what you believe.

These words are not derogatory by nature. A bitch is a female dog. A bastard is an illegitimate child. An ass is a donkey. Hell is a theological state, and damn means to send to Hell.

Granted, these words can be used in a derogatory sense, but they do not in their original definitions refer to vulgar things (like the s- or f-words) or derogatory slurs (like the c- or n-words).
