Nope. No side morrors. Windows don;'t roll down, there's no backseat, either. And you can't change a tire without taing it to a shop. Notice the wheel enclosures? If you have a flat on the rear tire, you'd have to take the drive belt off to change it. 78% of the time only 1 or 2 people ride? well, what about the other 22% of the time? FAIL. No place for the kids that need a car seat, either. FAIL

i want the Germans to do more of this as i would never trust an american made car for safety, quality or design. This looks very cool though but only if the salesman hype is true and only if it stands up to a head on crash with an SUV which i don't believe. All manufacturers say there cars are safe but NCAP safety tests have huge differences in real safety

id pay no more then £8000 for it, i like it but there is just so many faults and limitations to these cars $40,000 thats like £28,000 for that money i could buy a decent standard car or a nice sports car that offers alot more and will get me and my family plus caravan up hills and threw pot holes no problem , the price range is what will kill this car off is what i think plus why has it got airbags and safty stuff it only tops 80mph on a good day :S

This is the most informative video I have seen about the Aptera and if the vehicle is capable of doing what the sales guy says it does eg. conering, top speeed and braking and stuff, then this is a pretty impressive vehicle. BTW you would be a frikking idiot to use this car in snow :-)
