This is a very sweet tribute. I agree with everything you said in your summary about the characters, as well as America Ferrera and Christopher Gorham. When people see them sans their Clark Kent personas, they are struck by how outwardly beautiful they are (although I think they are quite hot in the show), but what really impresses me is their inner beauty and amazing acting skills. They really did bring these two characters to life, and they made me identify with and root for them.
