The mistake is where he is about to fold the blue shirt for the second time. THEN it gets switched with other socks (not the purple/black ones), followed by the actual folding of the blue shirt :) I think you stopped watching too early :P

The mistake is in the count of blue shirts he folded, and the count of all blue shirts(folded or not) later in the scene. They have other "mistakes" but the show rocks!!!

PS: In Bulgaria we have a word when we make fun of someone or similar, that sounds close to Bazinga (i reffer to "Bazikam") :)

You are wrong he never folded the shirt the first time he set it down to refolded the socks that penny folded and then he went to gold it and by the time the camera looked down he was folding more socks and then he folded a different or the same blue shirt ONE time. Although being the owner of many superhero T-shirts like Sheldon many of my shirts are that color of blue or red etc.

The T-shirt and the socks seem to be appearing a lot throughout the folding. Maybe he has several identical sets of clothing. Sheldon seems like the kind of person for that.

@avcms the nerdy fans care, and for a show like this there will be nerdy fans who scour the show for inconsistency and errors in continuity. i do this ALL THE TIME with the simpsons, because i love that show more than any casual fan could understand. when i point out the continuity errors in the simpsons, people tell me to shut up, stupidly thinking i don't like the show because i do this, when really i do it because i'm a MUCH bigger fan than any of them is.

Nice! reminds me of Back to the Future I, When Marty was talking to his dad and in the backyard when he was doing his laundry. Marty's front shirt pocket was out, but after the transition it was tucked inside the pocket. After another transition the front shirt pocket was back out.
