I'm a Scientist, I'm not connected to OIL, and I've never met a colleauge, read a collegiate text book designed for scientists and/or Engineers, or heard a lecture from someone in the field of Earth and Atmospheric science that has touted Global Warming is a legitimate threat. Now I'm not claiming to be an expert, that is not my field ... but I can say that Global Warming as thought of by society is not backed by the scientific community.

not necessarily. look at venus, with that planets level of reflection, even tho it is closer to the sun, it should be cooler than earth, but its not because of greenhouse gases. plus, our co2 levels have been shown to affect climate change and suddenly they are skyrocketing along w/ the earth's population and carbon output. its all too much to be coincidence.

This format had some promise but the manner in which many of these questions were asked (especially this one) were completely without dignity and were condescending toward the topic they were addressing, the audience and the debate participants.
Many of the questions were obviously more an exercise in giving the maker of the video a few seconds of fame rather than honestly addressing an issue they wished to have the candidates discuss.
