@Argentknight16 It's said in one way or another that Eragon and ___ will leave Algeasia. Saphira is also the mother of her race and the last dragon egg is male (as has been established). I assume the father will be the green dragon.

Some speculate that Nasuada will be the next rider, because when she wears green it is always referred to often... then again, it would be weird if she and Eragon fell in love. There's a book on how Paolini backed himself into a corner with these kids of things.

the cg for saphira was good but in my opnion they should shorten your neck and wings alot and make her more bulky she looked to weak in my opnion and rachel weisz vioce was retarded she made saphira sound bored through the whole movie it would be a intense scene and she is bored

I think her appearance was fine for the most part except that I think her wings needed to be BIGGER. It doesn't look like they should be able to support her body weight. She could have been built up some but it is important for dragons to have a dynamic structure for flight. Too much bulk would have weighed her down.

@MsAsmalik my problem is that they took one of my favorite book series made it into "a middle finger to the fans" movie. she looks like a reptile swan and i hate that a dragon is a flying reptile but no they had to give us a swan with scales with a mono tone. did you read the books? in it she is muscular, ferious and terrifying. now i know when they make a movie they have to change a few things and shorten. but in this the only thing they had the same were the names.

I COMPLETELY agree with you. The Eragon movie was absolute shit. Nothing compared to the books. It was only the animation and acting of Saphira and the photography that saved it its one star out of ten in the Empire magazine. I mean, even though the book was a blatant fusion of The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, they could have made it less obvious through filming. They just seemed to highlight it. The sequel, Eldest, has no hope of ever getting past a script now.
