That same thing can be debated between Biggie Smalls and Tupac, I feel as far as lyrics, Tupac wins hands down. However, Biggie's delivery and smooth flow was unsurpassed. With this current discussion Kriss Kross are only two people. Da Youngsters had four or five if I counted correctly. Which rappers had better lyrics? I heard one of them keep repeating the same phrase but putting it at different parts of his 16 bars. Not too creative with the vocab, but he made it sound good.

Compared to today's hip hop music, there's a great chance that it is better, but when compared to 90s mainstream, it's not necessarily better. If you were a mainstream hip hop artist in the 90s it meant that you had a broad appeal, as Kris Kross did. A mainstream artist now is a watered down sell out.

They were a bad influence on youth and if I were a parent at that time I wouldn't have let my kids listen to them.
