That makes no sense. Sports broadcasting only has to do with speaking and having an in-depth understanding of the sport and being able to analyze, estimate and predict. Women have done much more than that, they are female mixed martial artists, body builders, astronauts and of course "G.I Janes," women in combat! And it doesn't matter if your a girl or not, does being a "girl," make your point more valid cause trust me, it doesn't.
I think if women were allowed on the frontlines it would only be fair that they were on the draft the same way men were, I mean it's just common sense; if women are just as capable of being on the front line then they're just as capable of being put into war when war is started.

It is just goint to take a massive tragedy, when we fight someone with a half ass decent military, and we get some units overrun. Then all the chicks will be getting gang raped, and then everyone will raise hell and wonder why we sent women over there to fight our war.

Israeli women serve in a separate force than men, akin to WAVEs in WW2. No combat jobs are open to women besides pilot, something they adopted after the United States. Look up the history of the IDF. You will find out why they changed their policy on women during the 48 war.

I say that any woman who can pass BUD/S, unmodified, the way it is now, should be allowed to be a Navy SEAL....if a woman can fullfill the requirements she should be able to do the job. I've seen women who are stronger than men.
Women could be trained to be stronger and to fight off anyone who would try to abuse them, just like men.
I don't see much reasons why they cannot face combat.
