Great game, love playing it. A few RL friends and I enjoy starting up a group and rampaging through the war-torn countryside, killing every Order character in our way.
I assume you only get simple guns because these games are based back along time ago. With an added twist of magic and some type of lore. I couldn't get into that lore crap.

Draken i played Wotlk Beta and this kicks it's ass! Wotlk is Grind Grind Grind Grind Grind Grind Pvp Pvp Pvp for about 2 years till your server finaly gets good at raiding like it did in tbc. Also shamans and DK's over powerd for pvp unless u dont mind being pulled and pushed places like spam.

people have a misconception that RvR means player versus player. It doesn't it means Realm vs Realm in the matter that every action whether it's pve or pvp affects your realm(side). What you're watching is the PvP side of RvR.
I usually interpret RvR as PvP. Thanks for clarifying that up for me. Now I wont look like an idiot anymore thinking when people are talking about RvR, they mean PvP, lol..
RvR came from Dark Age Of Camelot, where as when it came to PvP'ing your realm would fight amongst other realms for Keeps and Castle takeovers. Your Realm in PVE was your own realm with certain classes. Each Realms lands are different also. So to RvR you would meet in an gigantic PvP map, which is where all Realms would meet for domination. See in WoW Horde and Alliance share the same world/Lands, where I would have liked to see us have our own lands, and meet in a RvR environment.
Your right,, to an extent. The final end game battle is instanced and can only be done after unlocking the final city. That is true. But you can unlock dungeons within your own realm. And the best aprt is, If you don't want to participate in RvR as much, you still gaina ccess to the dungeons that the RvR players have opened for you. :) So, there are dungeons you can do without ever doing any RvR fighting.. BUT, I dont recommend never doing RvR. It's essential for EVERYONE to RvR once in a while

Unlike WoW, which is a PvE game with a completely garbage PvP game inside it, this game is focusing on PvP, which is called RvR. If you want the good gear, the tier gear, there are no raid bosses you farm, you get your buddies and head to the enemy city and proceed to kick the shit out of everyone, then their city's king.
I'm sorry but your only half right. WAR is definitely going to focus on RVR, BUT it will also have ALOT of PvE content. There WILL be PvE dungeons just like in ANY OTHER MMO. There WILL BE end game PvE content where guilds WILL farm for Unique and Epic Loot.
Now, those that hate PvE and only like to PvP, WILL have the OPTION of doing RvR combat over PvE combat. This is what I find Fascinating about WAR! The PvPers can pvp and level that way, and the PvE gamers can still get what they want.
The end game PvE instances are ONLY available once you raid and kick out the Defenders of the main enemies city, so unless the PvErs want to get their hands dirty with PvP action, they wont see much end game PvE. And the dungeons are ONLY available when the city is being ransacked, so don't expect to be able to hop on whenever and look for a group for the end game instance.
I'm sorry but your wrong. One can "PvE" in WAR and not EVER do any RvR fighting. There are plenty of PvE elements in WAR that have nothing to do with RvR. There are several dungeons that do NOT require your faction to unlock, then of course there are several that do require your faction to unlock.
Now, to state RvR IS also PvE is false and very far from the truth. When logging into WAR, players will have the choice to do whatever they want. Some will choose to fight RvR and some will go PvE.
Some will choose to level up through RvR fighting, then some will choose to level up by fighting against Monsters, which is what PvE essentially means. "Player Versus Environment" Envitonment meaning the monsters of the land, whereas RvR is player vs player..
no WAR is based on RvR concept. Meaning EVERYTHING you do including PVE affects your realm. So by doing quests, dungeons everything you affect your realm status. Whether or not you're tagged for pvp that's another thing. But you're still affecting your realm in a positive or negative way.
i completely disagree. defending the gates of ironforge is one of my fondest moments. attacking the crossroads with other members was amazing. watching my friends die from spells cast at them next to me while im in a sword fight with a orc, priceless.
Currently the Open Beta hasn't started. When it does start i'm quite sure the NDA will be dropped. Which means that there will be far more information available to the public.

Cause the site gets a high traffic load. Alot of players are applying for the beta. I managed to get like 100 of my friends to apply within 2 days and they said the site is slow as hell cause of the overload. But oh well , in the end warhammer will pwn and there site will be definately faster.
Bah, I hate how people always have to compare WAR to WoW, and say it copies it. FYI, WoW was not the first MMO made. What about Ultima Online, Dark Age of Camelot came out seven years ago made by Mythic, and still has players today.
And for the record: Warhammer has been out for like 25 years, while Warcraft has only been out since the late 90's.
Making an MMO is no piece of cake, but I'm sure Mythic aren't gonna let us down. :)
WoW is getting old and a worse game, than "back in da ol dais", before tbc. GZ on gathering 10,000,000 people, but It's imba both gearwise and classwise. Luckily Blizzard made alot of money on this, which will most likely improve the quality of SC2, which I'm looking very much forward to. :)

actually... wow takes everyone from all other mmos and refines it.
this game actually introduces many new things to mmos, other than things that are standards in mmos today. oh and the graphics... first of all its a youtube video and second of all its in beta and the textures are less detailed because its much easier to distribute a beta like that.

Both AoC and Warhammer look to be very slow gameplay. Neither look too entertaining.
I know Warhammer is in beta phase, but still. I was thinking about playing it, but I will wait until I can see some real game footage. Right now gameplay looks like shit.

Yes i want instances up the ass. which is what AoC seems to have atm. Hear about the player cap(instance) for siege battles, and needing to schedule and invite players to participate in it? Where is the open world fighing, the pvp sounds more like a chore than fun at times.
darkfall sounds great on paper however since the game has been indevelopment for like 6 years now its pretty clear its not going to come out. Not to mention its being made by a small company that wont' have the resources to make everything work right.

They have to agree to a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA). It prevents them from leaking information about the game.

actually... wow takes everyone from all other mmos and refines it.
this game actually introduces many new things to mmos, other than things that are standards in mmos today. oh and the graphics... first of all its a youtube video and second of all its in beta and the textures are less detailed because its much easier to distribute a beta like that.

WoW will fail cause in War u get to Dye your armor and you can customize your own armor by putting skulls or spikes on it and i think its every RvR/PvP mission you win u get an award that u can put on your armor for chosen i think its emipre dudes head x_X...i think

been waiting on a good mmo too come out for 2 years now, AoC wasnt want i expected horrible lore and gameplay imo... havent seen anything good sense WoW hopefuly this game will come through it seems like its gonna be good, it has nice lore and classes and pvp/rvr.

btw, in my opinion: Warhammer Universe is 25 yrs old, when warcraft universe is only around 15, so races from WH are not copyed from WoW, but WoW has appeared in 2004 and for WH is still working on it, both MMORPGs look the same...

I haven't played this yet, but from the videos I have seen from AoC and this, I don't understand why people are saying WoW is gonna fail, lol.
Both AoC and Warhammer look to be very slow gameplay. Neither look too entertaining.
I know Warhammer is in beta phase, but still. I was thinking about playing it, but I will wait until I can see some real game footage. Right now gameplay looks like shit.

Hey, that's not fair comparing this to WoW. You know, WoW didn't look that great in the beginning and has been refined a great lot during the following years after its release.

Yes i want instances up the ass. which is what AoC seems to have atm. Hear about the player cap(instance) for siege battles, and needing to schedule and invite players to participate in it? Where is the open world fighing, the pvp sounds more like a chore than fun at times.

darkfall sounds great on paper however since the game has been indevelopment for like 6 years now its pretty clear its not going to come out. Not to mention its being made by a small company that wont' have the resources to make everything work right.
