  • It sure looks a lot nicer than the Super Guppy, Pilots are at least proud to fly the Dreamlifter, they will never admit to flying the Guppy...

  • You wanna know the real dream lifter? Look up AN-225

  • no peleen tanto en que si se copian o no de todos modos si venden aviones o no o que si estan mas grandes o lo que sea de todos modos no les van dar la mitad de dinero vdd asi que ya se quebren el coco jajajja

  • wait wait wait. Boeing considered buying a plane (Beluga) From it's rival counterpart, Airbus?

  • I stood underneath LCF #3 at the factory - it's size is beyond imagination. MASSIVE!

  • The dream lifter IS the A380 killer

  • No.. that is just a cheap version of the Airbus Beluga.. wich is much more big Lol

  • Its not as long but taller and wider and since the first version of Beluga the Super Guppy was released in the early 80's, how slow are boeing??

  • @samueljoelgarnett Super guppy was a boeing 377 stratocruiser that was converted by boeing in the mid 1960's to haul sections of the Saturn 5 moon rockets. Baluga was a bad copy of the strato cruiser's they had bought used. The 747 LCF could transport a airbus baluga. the 747 is much larger then the baluga, & can haul 3 times more weight in freight then the scarebus.

  • @samueljoelgarnett yhey build it when it was necessary.

  • @samueljoelgarnett Boeing just never really needed one of these kind of planes I guess

  • @samueljoelgarnett Huge planes cost a lot of time and money to design and are low in demand. Boeing mostly focuses on military and passenger transport anyways. Their normal cargo planes satisfies the needs of their customers already. The only reason they even made this was so they could carry 787 parts. If they don't need it, they have no reason to make it.

  • how. the beluga has 2 engines. LCF has 4...

  • @secret00agent00man the LCF carries MUCH more weight & mass then the airbus. the Baluga is doing the job that the Boeing 377PG was doing. the 377 PG is a 1947 vintage radial engine airliner based on the B-29 bomber. so the Baluga is a lightweight in the heavy haul catagory.

  • rofl im glad boeing made it a cheap version of the airbus beluga. your not looking for the dreamlifter to generate money! so why spend so much on it u dumbass. your only using it for CARGO it dun needa be jackass fancy. It just needs to do the job efficiently and quickly and AFFORDABLY. One of these days, schools should have commen sense classes mandated. rofl... i laugh at ur stupidity

  • i like this new plane dreamlifter

  • I saw this plane today at the Portland, Oregon airport.

  • Why dont they just make the same plane a airliner it would beat the airbus

  • It's a little more complicated than that - they made a giant hollow tube that flies, which is great for transport, but worthless for passenger transport. In addition to this, the entire airframe is dated, and by todays standards is inefficient (wing, engine, fuselage design, as well as materials used.) The A380 was designed with 500+ pax electrical, plumbing, food galley, entertainment, safety (doors, fire evac, oxygen etc) systems. I could go on forever! Different plane, different purpose. =)

  • @EstorilEm A380 is also limited severely to airports that can handle such a large aircraft, aprons have to be reinforced for the weight, gates have to be redesigned, etc. quite a headache just to fly an extra 80 people per flight. Boeing studied a 500 passenger plane in the late 1970's but decided that it was not worth the hassle.

  • @EstorilEm its nt made for passenger transport yuh jackass

  • @EstorilEm

It was never designed to be mass produced and sold. It was simply designed so boeing could transport air plane parts. Its a plane with a specific purpose and really no other use. The dreamlifter was never intended for passenger use.

  • because it isn't economically advantagous to make such a large airliner. A380 operators are losing their shirts.

  • @kdraper2007 much like the operators of the old Concord. it naver made money, it was about prestige.
