@CurottoCanMaster82 No I believe none of their trucks still are in this color. They may be running a couple Maxons, possibly newer ones I'm not sure. And these RRs have the exact same engine (Cummins L10 I believe) as the FLs in Escondido :) But it's cooler for ASLs
This is one of my favorite videos!! I STILL HAVE IT!!! i used to always play it. Loved it so much because of the heil rapid footage.
I'm stil confused with the controls on that thing. how do you get the rail/arm to come in when shes pushing it side ways. it retracts and comes in at the same time?
And the shot at 9:03 is the best shot in that video!!
i think they repainted all their trucks. plus this was shot in i think 1994 so over 20 years, yeah. so these trucks are long gone. :(
@TheTrashman97 Yeah these trucks would've been plain epic to follow in person. They bought new trucks and then changed the color of the fleet, but yeah the old ones sounded sweet. Just like some of EDI's front loaders (that are still in service today, btw......You might want to check some of that footage out if you get the chance :D)
Sadly, I never collect all the Real Wheels series, I had a nice number of them, but not the complete set. One of the things I regret from my childhood.
that truck at the beginning, the old WM one, those are the same that used to operate in moreno valley and flip lids! its been forever since ive seen one!
@travelsonic I can remember There goes a truck, there goes a boat and there goes a police car, but the first one was the one I remember most - the tow truck was the funniest
6:50, uses only one operator, keeps people from having to lift the container up, but also keeps the operator safe from distracted drivers. Love the truck at 1:00 5/5 stars!
our city has toter brand cans. and as far as i have seen my area [southern maryland] [and northern virginia] there is only 1 automated side loader and its a heil python with a condor chassis. my city owns it.
but these tv things you post are awesome to watch again!
