i got a 2011 gt now and cobalts cant even touch it at all, i am bone stock gt vs bigger sc, exhaust,chip, pullies,everything. i put 10 cars on the cobalt. new gt's are rated at 415hp, i cant wait to see what i do with a tune, compaired to my 08 with tune and intake this mustang would put at least 5 cars on it bone stock!!!!!
so what im saying is get a 11 mustang, they cant be touched!!!!
Nice congrtas on the new stang.they are beast.but I'm at 3900 ft elevation,a simple puts a big hurt on a na car.not only that,but ther is still the vettes to worry about,and any other expensive ass car.lol.I see a shitload of vettes around here.I'm actually selling the car as of now to get a bike mainly for the gas saving properties.but again congrats on that five o!
mine got beat by a modded colbalt chip exhause intake pullies and he beat me by a fender 4 times, i bought and intake and tuner and after those mods i put 4 cars on the cobalt, maybe 6 lol. but yeah after a tune and intake the modded cobalts couldnt even touch me, they are definalty faster STOCK vs STOCK tho. and BOY did that piss me the fuck off for months!! lololol
i have two friends with the balts one s/c and the other turbo ..when i raced both of them i had my gt chipped and the one that kept up with me was the s/c balt the turbo couldnt hang ...then the turbo got hks blow off , boost controller , and bigger piping and was boosting 20psi and i him quick from 30mph-100 after that he just catches up but barely passes me
Uhh I doubt you could beat the balt ss like that, no doubt you would beat it but if the guy that was driving could actualy drive it would be a closer race then that. If he used no lift shift he might take you, Ive seen it done befor (o8+ss balt beating a 08 GT) both were stock.
what cobalt is it that u raced if its the s/c than it doesnt have no-lift that was a weak run i dont know my s/c would take a 08 stang gt i think im gonna find out this summer
i know he doesnt have no lift shift,thats what i said to vinnieg2831.yes it was a s/c.and if your stock then no,but if modded with pulley set-ups and tuned then probaly from a roll youll take an s197 gt.

stock ther running about 18 lbs on the turbo,more or less depending on elevation.what were the mods on the s/c?film it next time.
