@54321thedeathbed Definitely bought this. This is a Tablet PC, it comes with a 128GB SSD, 4GB RAM and Windows 7(or 8.) That doesn't come even close to the crappy iPad, which is just an expensive toy, whilst the slate can handle Photoshop and just about anything you throw at it...

I don't need an iPad, matter of fact I don't need or want any Apple product because they are just underpowered and overpriced. I bought the Slate because at work I'm forced to use an iMac, which is just a terrible computer. On the Slate I can actually get some work done, it's blazing fast, and I can dual boot into Android or Windows. Also, it serves as an awesome remote for my PC.

Awesome product, still very pricey. All though technologically it surpasses everything Ipad3 will ever be. However PC been resting on the performance as a competitive edge ever since the ipad 1 came out and yet the ipad still the highest selling tab outthere true story (cuz apple know how to market their sh!t to ppl, not PC enthusiast) . somehow, the product looks not like old Samsung products. On the bottom corners are not stable, there is gap.

The touch experience cannot compare with Ipad, but I personally like this one much better than Ipad, You can do whatever you want or need to do on your pic with this little tiny and sexy looking Tablet.

I have had for weeks, I still love it.

@ditzeliu sure you cant compare the touch experience with ipad... this one is a blazing fast writing and drawing Wacom Digitizer Screen with 1024 levels pressure sensitive pen, also from Wacom and it does have 10 finger touch points. Ipads touchscreen is very, very basic compared to this one.

The ipad is too slow and i guess it doenst have pressure levels at all, plus you cannot sign or draw with it because its so laggy to do so.

Hi, can you comment on the edge pen writing experience / accuracy? On Lenovo Thinkpad X220T, it has a severe edge pen writing problem. It makes it very hard to tap the small buttons on the edges using the pen. I'm wondering if this Samsung Slate doesn't have any problems like that.

I would prefer a laptop as a developer , good keyboard is must for me and It won't be easy (at least for me) to hold a keyboard tablet both and code while I am sitting on my couch. But its great tablet.. very cool to carry this as a tablet outside and make it PC with those external keyboard at home desk. Why can't they simply make a touch screen ultra portable laptops with keyboard attached at there back so that we can switch mode between laptop and tablet.

@levski221 this tablet with windows 7 will be out this year i think however windows 8 will probably not be released until the september/october 2012. However ultimately these developer preview tablets are basically just samsung series 7 slates, you could buy a series 7 slate and install windows 8 developer preview on it and you would then pretty much have this tablet. i would wait for the official windows 8 release, also look into arm instead of intel.
