richard grant was perfect for this role...does anyone know if episodes 4-6 are or will ever be on dvd? are there any way to get them from any source? A and E said a few years ago they were not gonna release them but I don't understand why........
I swear, I never would've guessed Richard E. Grant as the Scarlet Pimpernel, but thats what so great about it. Cast an unsuspecting actor as the most unsuspecting suspect, genius!! And he's just brilliant as Sir Percy.

Does anybody here know the name of the actor, who is playing "James"? ( The one who is dying in this scene)

Thanks for uploading this.
The character Percy plays for people isn't as idiotic and frou-frou as he should be in this version.

I've seen the '34 one and while I like it, I think this one also has a place in my heart.

If I'm not mistaken she appears in the third episode: "The King's Ransom/The Scarlet Pimpernel and the Kidnapped King" as Madame Jouvin

I absolutely agree. Richard is awesome as Percy. Witty, clever and resourceful.
