About ten days before the G20 Summit, someone 'discovered' a cache of 20 Police Riot Uniforms buried in some woods. The event was reported, but played down. No reference to the Uniforms and the upcoming G20 Summit. Agent provocateurs stash, kindly lent out by the Met. Who knows how many more such caches there were? Not me, but I'd bet my left nut, these weren't the only ones.

im just saying it looks like this video glorifies violence and rioting. and im saying that to me it seems like the song is saying a riot like that will be really fun and awesome but nothing gets done, the cops beat everyone up and the rioters destroy their own town or a town they visited just to riot. and its true. the g20 protests have done nothing. if they focused more on attacking and getting past the police then maybe.

@mechazaowa How does this video not show the aftermath or negative consequences of rioting? Note the shots editted as Jello points out - "The barricades spring up from nowhere" - what do we see but lines of cops? These shots are at night, following the day's rioting, showing the rounding up of remaining protestors as the protest falters and fails. We have been working with DK clips for over 25 years and listening to them for even longer. Can you say the same?

Ok 1 there is a difference between a riot and a protest. I never said protests had negative consequences, but that is another topic entirely.

Negative consequences of riots though

1) You get your assed kicked

2) make a mess of the city that other people have to clean up

3) you look like an asshole and you weaken your position, you strengthen the forces of reaction

4) the movements slow down because of people being put in jail.

5) the only people who experience any negative consequences are people who go to jail. the people being rioted against dont get harmed in the slightest. unless its a massive movement. so far the G-20 riots havnt done much but allow those who already feel dissatisfied take out their frustrations.

As the SELF-MADE video (you should try it some time Blue Demon instead of sitting on your fat, corporate ass) adequately demonstrates that little was acheived (as in our case) by the London G20 protests. The fat cats still met and feasted (as the news clip demonstrates) while the pigs kept everyone at a safe distance. They even kicked a protestor to death (not likely to be you Blue Demon - hiding at home). A few windows were smashed and fires lit. Meanwhile, the global System continues unabated.

In Melbourne, just as in London, we had inflitrators dressed in black masks claiming they were anarchists but instead just bent on physical violence against any nearby bystander - negating the protests. Shops were looted while meanwhile over 1 million homes in the US stand empty while there are 500,000 homeless. Useful and anarchistic allocation of resources and time? This is what Jello is talking about and the video explains. The problem is, Blue Demon, you are just a corporate goon...
