  • Only in Wisconsin. XD

  • the cop woke up and siad its going to be one of thows days

  • despite the idiot that got in his way, that couldnt have gone better. sweet save! fuggin rebberneckers

  • yano the guy in the white car got in trouble and i think its a fkin joke loool not his folt he wants to crash a plan on a motorway for cars looool how was he ment to no they was a plane comeing down looool i would laugh in the cops face and tell him to take me cort soo i can laugh in the judges face lol whats this world comeing 2

  • I DRIVE ON THAT HIGHWAY ALL THE TIME

    coooool :P

  • it was north east WI not SE

  • I'd imagine the guy in the white car is in trouble for getting in the way. Notice that there are lots of cars pulled over to the shoulder, and many police cars. You think maybe they tried to clear the way? The white car pulls alongside and rubber-necks. Perhaps he should have pulled over and stayed out of the way like everyone else. Oh, cool plane, and nice landing. Highways are usually a lot smaller targets than runways, making them more difficult to land on.

  • Were the officers cuffing the pilot, is that what happened? Why would they do that???!! If he landed on the highway, he surely had a good reason to, no? It's not illegal to land on the highway in an emergency, is it? And why did the officer run after the white car befoe that? As a witness?

  • that officer wasnt arresting him, just making sure everyone was okay. the reason he ran after the white car was because he passed in a no passing lane(lol)or because he was interfering with emergency work

  • the eisenhower interstate in the 50's was required to have one straight mile within every five miles of roadway so planes could emergency land or in a national crisis be used as runways for the military.

  • "Can I see your driver's license, registration, and proof of insurance please?"

  • how did they get the plane out? did he just takeoff from the highway?

  • they probably used a trailer. If it was a Navy plane, they would just fold the wings up. Otherwise they would have to remove them. I see planes on trailers all the time I live pretty close to a airport. With personal planes it's more common than you would think.

  • Top it off and clean the glass, I'll be back, do you take American Express????

  • Well, parts of our highway system were in fact designed for such things as aircraft landing strips. How to tell is to look for the blue, five-stared "Eisenhower Highway System" signs.

  • failure to signal a lane change

  • Licence and registration please!

You know how fast you were going there son?

  • well at least he landed on the right side of the road

  • It only happens in the U.S.A

  • Woah.

  • not surprised it had to do an a emergency landing with the size of the pilot lol

  • Your comment just proves what an assinine fool you are.

  • the plane was stolen obviously?!

  • perhaps.lol

  • LOL, description said it was a fighter plane... T-6's weren't fighter planes... they're trainer aircrafts, if they would actually go into battle they'd be doomed...

  • Actually, the T-6 did see limited use in combat, as a ground attack aircraft. The designation was the AT-6.

  • Heh I live 3 miles from there! At least he landed safely. Funny though how the officer reached for his gun.

  • Officer didnt reach for his gun... his gun was on the right side, he was reaching down on his left to key up his radio.

  • The guy was less than 20 miles from his destination AND there's an airport about a mile in front of him (about 15 miles from where I live). The area is INSANELY busy with planes this week due to a huge airshow.

  • See, now Bush thinks Wisconsin has WMD's!!

  • If you look, the policeman at the end is reaching for his gun...lol

  • It's more likely that he's adjusting his radio.

  • Haha! That's an old AT-6! Gotta love the old warbirds. ;)

  • The pilot said in an interview that he was landing behind the police car because he couldn't clear it, but seeing that he was going to crash into the back of him, he purposely BOUNCED over the police car. That's a damn good pilot.

  • I didn't cut the film. This is the original footage which I received from a trustfull source. I thought there was a roadblock. They've cleared the road but I don't know why there are other cars than police driving on this road.

  • Good landing by the pilot :-))

  • witness?

  • Saw it 2 mins ago on CNN

  • very nice landing(Y)

  • is that a T6 or a thunderbolt?

  • It is a 1946 North American T-6G plane :-D
