Good question that someone asked: is it illegal to ride this unless you are a police officer? If not, I think it would be a wonderful theft deterrent to ride the 'Police' model. Either that, or the bike would get purposely vandalized whenever you leave it out...
@maurigian1 yeah ime sure its illegal to but you know somthing he is a police officer why else would you waste money on a high tech system like this witch would get you pulled over think about it
Lots of police bike lighting systems seem to ignore side visibility. This lighting system clearly addresses that issue, and the focus on the rear lights makes it ideal for warning traffic from behind. Is this custom made? If it is, great job! It is definitely visible from just about every angle!

A very fit guy on a racing bike could outrun a bike cop since all that gear make those mountain bikes heavy and thus slower to a light racing bike
