Hello, how do you get your ducks to not be so scared of you? Your Pekin basically attacks you which is extremely cute. Tips on showing them you're their friend?
@TheFreezingM00N Approach them slowly and not from above. Get down to their level with treats and get a routine in place. If you sit outside on the ground each day quietly with treats at the same time, they will learn the routine and learn that you are safe. If you reach for them and try to grab them, they'll remember and not trust you. Good luck.
They're too big for hawks to bother them. There's a small hawk who lives in a tree next door, but doesn't bother the ducks. I would have to be careful if I had call ducks or ducklings though.

just like when you introduce a new duck to a different older group of ducks they establish a pecking order, in other words your goose will peck at the call duck to show its dominance. After a little while the goose will accept the duck and they will get along.
