it is not dangerous, they can bite but no one has ever died from a tarantula bite. and they are display pets like fish. do you know any one who handles a fish? no because they are not a pet that is supposed to be handled, a bit like this one. see when people think the word pet they assume it must be stroked or handled like a dog or cat. its not always the case

Your spider is awesome dude! I too have a pet spider of the race Brachypelma Angustum. She's not as big as yours, but just as with the Goliath bird eater, she is way too agressive to handle. I heard that in extreme cases, the Theraphosa Blondi species can grow as big as a dinner plate, is this true?

Excellent video!!!I have a large male Brazilian Pink Salmon Bird Eater and will be picking up a 4 inch very young Goliath Bird Eater female.If the male Salmon Bird Eater is still alive in a couple of years I might try to mate them.Just imagine the possible size of the offspring if that cross breeding is a success.I've heard that the Salmon Bird Eaters can get just as large as the Goliath.

no lol hybrids are possible but they have to b e the same genus, goliaths genus are theraphosa and salmon pinks are from the lasiodora genus. for example brachypelma smithi (the redknee) and brachypelma bohemi (the flame leg)its possible to mate them coz they are both brachypelmas
