Yeah it was confusing at first, but It will make perfect sense if you keep watching it. The man was Narcia's boyfriend, but he has another girl (Ga-in). So Narcia kills him and commits suicide at the end with Ga-in (that 'love' pill is actually a poison, I guess.)
