utep band is getting back on its feet..with a new and great director, this band is only going to get stonger..as for NMSU..they will stay the same way..they play good...sam eboring style and showboating their brass out..thats all they do
NMSU has a crapload of tubas :O........ and also i do have to admit NMSU did have a better marching band but they r boring as hell the miners are the funnest band i have ever seen idk about u guys but i wanna be a marching miner!!!!!!! GO MINERS!!!!!!!!!
@iRoNcLaD5398 For the amount of sound they put out and the number of trumpets playing in that range its pretty well in tune. Articulation is good too. The quality did balance with the quantity. Having said that I have to say the Miners did step it up this year.

I guess they prefer entertainment and good music to wannabes who march good, but have no power behind their instruments. Oops =]. Best part was when T Andre actually told Pride director Monty Hill that the Pride was the better band. OOPS AGAIN. Better get that green monster on your back checked out by a doctor.
Poor T Andre. The Pride completely dominated his field that day. Make NMSU never wanna come back? But we love to play there. and tear down the walls with power.
