  • Nice find. I'd love to find one for $275, I'm a forklift tech, FE & F2 engines, Yale/Hyster, are high milers, seen many with 25k+ hours on them, thats roughly 750,000 miles on a car or truck. Most hadn't had more than just water pumps, timing belts, and maybe a head gasket or two. There's a reason they've used them for as many years as they have, and still use them today.

  • They never die do a weber 32/36 carb replacement and when you have some cash replace the exhaust system. Mine runs like crap in the winter (1990) the carb is JUNK after I replaced it just fine and you can remove a load of other parts. If you want some link let a man know. I am done with my engine mods and am just starting on the rusty body.

  • @BainLuke Hey man, send me some links. I have been dying to find a place to get a header and exhaust. I've seen a few diff carbs people use for this truck. I've heard of at least 3 different Webbers and one Holley. I'd like to know what's which carb to use and why.

  • ghetto....but if ghetto gets you places, then it's good ^_^

  • Its so cute! Good buy!

  • The carburetor has nothing to do with it burning oil!

  • hey its burning oil because, your carb is bad, your going to want to go buy a webber carb and put it in, i have an 88 mazda b2200 and it was burning oil as well until i put the new carb on.

  • does it still smoke after wat u did?

  • i really want to put a hole in my B2200's exhaust now!, it sounds so crappy maybe it will make it sound more powerfull then it is.

  • i finally got my vid up of my b2200!!! Its the same color as yours i think,

  • Just got an 89 extended cab. In a little better condition body wise. Fun little truck to drive though. But it hardly burns any oil.

  • she's a gorgeous truck!

  • lol 0:42 no keys push to start

  • mine doont have an rpm gauge so how do you know when to let off the clutch?

  • @kickflip246810 you go by ear. or by a type R tach or any brand and install it a simple dash mount or side panel can look really nice and clean done right.

    -cheers

  • @beeftothetaco123 thnks man its my first vehicle and and im only 16 so i was just wanting to know...nd i am just learning to drive stick shifts

  • Oh, got mine for free.. It needed a new clutch, some bolts for the manifold, a sparkplug hole repair kit.. Lots of oil, and love..

  • First of all, FlyingRaptorJesus FTW lol, and yeah, I have to same truck... but way more issues.. Mine burnt a shitload of oil, and still does. That seafoam probably made your issues worse, try out some of that stp oil treatment, if it does something a little than maybe get a can of cylinder repair. It will pug shit up around your rings.. assuming that they are shot. Check the engines compression, if there is none, then your valves are shot. Check the plugs, 1 and 4 on mine get crap on them.

  • hey, for 275 bucks not too bad

  • lol i had the same truck. used about a qt of oil every other day. start it on a colder morning and it would almost suffocate you.

  • that things sick i might get an '87 just like that.

  • 275? good deal

  • i just rebuilt my motor in my mazda b2200 and it runs perfect, i am a mechanic so i have all the tools to do it but the one thing i can tell you is that if it burns real white puffy smoke then chances are you are burning antifreeze which mean you may just try taking the head off and getting it machined flat if there is any warp in to and slapping a new head gasket on it, just make sure that u follow sequence order when taking it off and putting it back on , try 2 get new head bolts for the head.

  • i just bought a 1990 with 178,000 miles and the thing runs like a champ got it from an impound yard for 500 bucks ... im loving it so far!!

  • ive got the same truck and every same problems i brought mines for four hundred

mines a cab plus, so far i cleaned the engine real good so i can start working on it ive got a mini truck heaven

1981 ford courier (Restoreration in progress) (Cut And Shut rusted bed and engine rebuild)

1988 toyota pickup (Ive had it for 13yrs no major problems) Favorite truck

1991 ford ranger down grade by droppin a 4cyl

89 mazda b series (going make into a clean realiable daily driver, i dont know if

  • i would so buy that truck off you for 500-1000

  • The pipe on mine is seprated in the same part.

  • I would not even pay 50 bucks for the piece of shit, hope you know you just bought urself a money pit.....

  • @tawler14 then you'd be an idiot he can scrap that for 200 or 400 if its to the pick n' pull ...

  • I really wouldn't care about the stuff being messed up since you only payed $275 for it. Good Buy

  • sounds like ur running on 3 cylinders.

  • all that stuff is pretty easy to fix

  • @nitrojoe9 ya, unless you have to rebuild the engine and put new rings in it, but i think its a timing issue because all the cylinders have spark or it might be that one of the intake valves is stuck closed or the rocker arm might have come off.

  • @JHx86 well if you think you might have an ignition timing issue its 6 degrees before tdc.

  • @nitrojoe9 HOW DO YOU STOP IT FROM SMOKING? and install a CD player?

  • @MFRoosy16 smoking can often be fixed by putting new valve seals in the head. if you have some decent engine experience its not that hard. sometimes it is the piston rings which takes alot more to fix, but seals often help. if it smokes on start up 9 out of 10 times its the seals. cd player just get one and follow the wiring diagrams. a new one will drop in right in place of the old one

  • @nitrojoe9 HERES what i got. i got a pioneer Stereo i have the first old radio still in the mazda. trying to get to it is difficult.. having to take apart the dash... and such.. help?

  • @nitrojoe9 Yeah seals go bad in them easy anyways... and putting in a cd player isn't no big task. just rings would be rough without a shop =/

  • my door panel is also ripped in the same spot, down in the corner.

  • ahah that spot on the inner door panel looks identical to myn i have the same rip in that spot ahhaaah funny eh

  • doesen't sound like its running on all 4 at all times, try doing a tune up, maybe a little carb work, and check the timing, might help with the smoke too.
