If you turn the 2 arms into a flat disk (smooth surfaces) it will take a LOT less power to turn it+spin faster. Wind resistance is the problem.

yes - that`s the motors and the gearbox.

Nope. The bearing is very good. It`s the gearwheels and the motors which are loud.
