Fantastic film. I really like this video. I am really sorry for hearing about this boy's life, but i am really happy tho hear form him saying: "This is my life, and i am okay". Sometimes i feel that my life is not good, but know i understand that i just don't appreciate what i have. And know i just understand this. Very, very good movie!!!!!!
Wow - what an amazing story ... a sixteen year old boy surviving alone in the world because HIV destroyed his family.
He sounds so positive about life. His strength is something special, from which we can all learn.
When his sister is asked how she felt about their fathers death, she answer "alone." Followed by the crying step mother, this video tears at the heart - in a good way. "Come see the world through my eyes" - Brilliant !
It's so rare to see a story like this - the venture is amazing to give kids tools to tell their own stories. Not only stories, but change their lives. Maybe this is far-flung right now, but I could see the OLPC program one day using mentorship by the kids themselves to teach other kids how to make media.

Really great writing makes this film. Did you work together with Alcides to create that story arc or how was this done? Awesome talent in any case.
