And they moved Greenville to its present location in the late 1930's so Lake Wappapello wouldn't flood it. Now Mo.Dept. of Transportation and the Federal government "improved" Hwy 67 to 4 lane and it has changed how the St. Francis/Lake Wappapello backs up and now they have flood waters in Greenville where water has never reached before.
