I watched part 1-8 of these parodies and found them slightly amusing but I don't know... I mean it sure seems like "Christ follower" is just a kinda relaxed average joe with no sense of urgency or anything important to say, meanwhile "Christian" is an idiot for being zealous about his faith??? is this sending a true message of what following Christ is all about? legalism is wrong, but so is -lukewarm-worldly-no such thing as hell-socialy acceptable-false Christ following nonsense.

This is ridiculous.

Neither of these individuals have any reason to believe in Jesus.

The whole premise of the video is to make fundamental christians look stupid in comparison to "christ followers." What is the difference? Do either have any real reason to believe what they believe?

When you face facts, you realize that "liberal christians" are just christians who do not follow the bible very closely. They seem laid back and cool because they don't care about christ.

Just the word "vs" throws off this whole thinking. I wish we would not compare ourselves 2 ourselves. We (mankind) are so messed up. This is why we need Christ. NOT a new title of who we R or WANT 2B. We need to measure ourselves to the World of God. If you want to call me HOLYER THAN THOU, than I would say "Thank u that u see my strive 2 be more like Him." But my humility IN Him would know that I'm know where NEAR him.

Each of these videos is spot-on. Fundamentalists have given such a bad name to Christianity, especially over the last decade when George W. Bush and the Republican Party seemed to co-opt the religion in order to get people to vote against their self-interests so that more money would be funneled to the rich and the very rich through public policy.

Many churches were corrupted by the Karl Rove stuff during this time. So, Christianity definitely needs a reset, especially in the United States.

This video is a spit in the face to all the Christians all over the world who ARE persecuted for their faith, They are beaten, jailed, have their belongins confinscated, their houses burnt down and are even killed for believing and teaching Jesus Christ. I am not talking about in the US, but all over.

Maybe you should take a look at how Christians are treated in many countries, i.e. killed, in contrast to how followers of other religions are treated in the US. Actually the theme Im getting is that in reality the name doesn't matter. It's the attitude. An offering, given in spite, it's frowned upon by god, even though it's an offering, the attitude was wrong. Same deal here, if you display Christ like traits to be "holier than thou" your heart isn't right. It's not about ACTING Christian, it's about BEING A Christian. You're supposed to ask God how HE wants YOU to make that work, or what he wants it to look like.

It's about God's will and thanking Jesus for dying on the cross for the sins that were committed that are being committed and the sins that are to come! And the way we give thanks is in our lifestyle. Whether its putting on your best and attending worship services countless times a week, or just coming as you are and living life right on the day to day basis according to the instruction that God has left us.

I don't think one is better than the other, I honestly feel like what works for one person doesnt work for another. Some people cant get a break through with the "traditional church" or being a "traditional christian" As long as its for the edification of the Kingdom and God's will, it's all good! As long as we're doing the Great Commission and appearing to be "Christ-like" and creating disciples. Its not about Christians and Christ followers.

I would like to see more of what drives the Christ Follower. He seems so non-chalant that it would drive me to wonder if he is willing to step out in his faith. That is deny himself, take up his cross and follow Christ.

Some of these souls are dying and going to hell, because they still trust in religious tradition instead of Christ alone.

Those of us who have truly come to know Christ personally should be praying for them and not making fun of them. They're people, and many of them are perishing for lack of knowledge... like we were.

Someone needs to tell this "Christian" to read that big Bible.

1 Peter 2:20-21, "For what credit is it if, when you sin and are beaten for it, you endure? But if when you do good and suffer for it you endure, this is a gracious thing in the sight of God."

ie, hitting an old lady with a Bible is WRONG, and for that you would be justifiably punished. If it is in GOD's will for a trial or persecution to be brought your way, endure it since the purpose is to mature our faith and perseverance.
