Reliability all depends on the owner. I own two FC's and an FD. :x Daily drove my old FC for over three years pumping out close to 400whp without a single problem out of the motor. Just your usual shit from a 20 year old car.
well, i always got the mazdaspeed kit, ... the option D... seemed to be the best for me on most stages... but you would want the single turbo for the first and second stage
i think engine reliability depends in the use u give it...my dad has an rx-8 it has 85000 miles and we trash it and its still great...idk if it has to do anything with being a renesis but its still an 13b i think it could be that its naturally aspirated contrary to the rx-7 most of them are turbo...nice vid excelent battle...keisuke gay by not hitting in that girl he turned her down badly =(

mmm like it, plus i love rx7's too but cannot afford/deal with the upkeep of one. It's a real driver/enthusiast's car in that the more time and effort you put into keeping it in shape the more satisfying a car it is, ontop of it being already incredible.
I love FDs' and I loved the race between Keisuke and Kyoko. I hope she doesn't disappear altogether like the Sil-80 girls, and every other girl in Initial D, when 5th stage finally comes out.
As for the cars, I only wish the FD came with a more reliable engine. :(
never have i had a prob with the engine of my FD, i've owned three and the only reason i got rid of them was to upgrade with the mileage... now the mileage i currently have on my current FD is 36,000 miles
Seriously though, if you live in the U.S., take a look at every rx7 forum, and every autotrader, and see in the ad which ones mention engine rebuilds. 90% have engine rebuilds and under 100k miles on the chassis.
The 13b-REW is not a reliable engine platform. To believe otherwise is only kidding yourself. I can't even tell you how many people I know who have gone through 2, 3, even 4 engines.

can someone answer my question, please? in the ID arcade game (which ever stage), which rx7 is faster, KT's or Kylie's?
now that i know that Kylie got her rx7 a single turbo, which i presume a turbo lag, than KT's twin turbo.
