This just comes to show, it's not your image that counts, but your talent/skill (vocals) and how important this type of music is to you. Just like Jero, his hip-hop image was not what most expected to come from an enka singer, and Tsukasa has a vkei image, so it's really unexpected coming from him. It's great to see enka being performed and loved by people other than japanese grandmas/grandpas haha.
