What great tone this piano has. So many of the old pianos have a thin tone. This is very pleasant in sound and nice to listen to.

The quality of this piano is very good, hope that you can get the restoration done on it. These were very good instruments (Gold Medal)!!

oh yeah, I can tell you have a lot of leaks all over the place (and are pedaling like crazy to get it to play). However I look forward to seeing another video of this after the restoration is finished! Don't forget to do the inside flap valves on the pump (even if they still look good) and also to regulate valve travel etc. etc. it's the little things that can add up to either a nice easy-to-pump piano or one that is still unsatisfying.

It may be the J Lawrence Cook version. I bought the piano roll used. The name of the song, tempo, and musician has worn off it. Someone just wrote "After You've Gone" on the roll w/a pen...
