alright. "supposedly", this is the reason why it is better to face your subs toward the rear:

The number in a frequency is a measure of how long the wave it produces. The wave travels a different path when faced towards the rear vs. facing inside the cabin. The path it travels is much longer when it is facing the rear, has more time to develop, and 99% of the time is louder than facing the subs towards the cabin or towards the ceiling.

nope...forward and isolated from the trunk is always the best. Backwards and NOT isolated is ok for some "free" bass but once you get enough power, you lose too much thru the trunk lid.

alright. some guy told me i would do better if i would turn my subs around, facing into the trunk. i didn't know why, but i believed him.

bro it depends on the situation...if i had 2 12's and didnt want to take the time to isolate the trunk from the cabin, aiming backwards would most likely sound better.  Join my forum and look/ask around you will understand better what i mean! thanks!
