  • "The man with the patented face"

    Wonderful line!

  • experimental new wave electropop awesome with some post punk

  • In Anc AK I shoplifted DESIRE (as well as many others) just cause the jacket looked cool. The owner said "I know you guys have been stealing records-Knock it off." I think she let it slide because we also bought so many. Thanks Robber Joes Records lady for putting fantastic stuff on the shelf for us to explore! This is one of my all time favs- pop from my dimension of origin

  • great video!ths!!

  • Love this.. I remember first hearing them on a sampler album while DJ'ing at a college radio station in the 80's. Excellent vibe with their art.

  • I have been crazy about this song since Ralph Records included it on an ep you could order out of Creem magazine for $1.00

  • Please please please can somebody post the song 'New Machine' of the B-side of the No Tears maxi single?

  • ... a legsodróbb zene , ami magával ragad , bármikor akadok rá , FELKAP , S SZÁLLOK VELE ...

  • Not only this song, but almost all of the songs of the album 'Desire'. It was very difficult to convince my friends to listen to their music.

  • Tuxedomoon were one of my favorite bands in the early 80's, their sound really spoke to me. I love this song. Nazca is also a favorite. I had to share it with all my friends, but none of them liked it. And over the years I have tried to introduce new friends to their music, thinking I was doing them a favor, but it just doesn't appeal to them. Oh,well.

  • ...I can understand u mate...it's been the same to me...

  • First heard this on a Best of Ralph Records 25th anniversary double album, and loved em ever since.

  • Thanks for uploading my favorite song from tuxedomoon :)

  • My favorite. I LOVE the sound of the guitar. I like this video too.

  • This takes me back...wierd times, great song.

  • bravos

  • ce groupe est une tuerie!! leur son, ambiance, tout est merveilleux! l'un de mes groupes préféré!

oh,pourquoi en France on n'a pas de groupe de cette trempe?

  • One of my favourite Tuxedo songs. They have so much good and diferent albums. This one sounds like some Dark Minimal Synth Pop.Great Tune

  • I found a cassette back in 1988 that said Best of Ralph Buy or Die!! And it was a ix so I thought somebody just put these together.... I googled Rest stop on a voyage through time and found out who it was cause I had never known..... 20 years after hearing it, this song came to me one day.... Friggin awesome....

  • Made during a time when creativity was still part of the music industry. Great !!

  • Really takes me back. Just plain good stuff. Why can't bands nowadays put out anything this creative.

  • Very simple, corporate is in charge of most all music companies now(except really small, indie companies-the few that can survive). Corporations began owning most music/media companies around 98, so it's very rare to ever see any talent/creativity any longer within them. It's all about mind control and sales now. This is strictly controlled. Always support the little guy.

  • good minimal music love it!

  • very nice love it!

  • One of my favourite bands...

  • Great!!!! Long time i was waiting for a clip anyhow of this GREAT song from Tuxedomoon from the classic album *Desire*. This song is like a drug...combined u get really...u know what i mean.

    Thanks Mayajuli!!!!!

  • ... always the few, but good, right?

I could never do without their music ...

This piece has nearly three decades but is still light years ahead.

    Unsurpassed and unsurpassable.
