  • I think it is significant that 487 viewed this and only a few rated or commented. It is very old style. Like they say, hope is transformational and should be more exciting in its presentation.

  • I'm looking forward to this series of online conversations. It will be interesting to hear the stories of the people interviewed each week. I heard that Jorge Acevedo will address the topic of temptation. I'm using the UMCom sermon series Journey to Hope in my church setting. Check out the video at umcom.org/journeytohope. We'll use the children's resource for our Sunday School too.

  • snoozing... I did a Journey to Hope series on my own last year and it was more exciting than this! We need something upbeat, If we had a music video that showed hope in action that we could talk about after showing it to the congregation, that would be better...

  • What happened? Who in Congregational Developement ever ok'd this?

If we are trying to get people excited about attending the worship servives during Lent this is absolutely not the way to do it! Come on guys we can and should do better. Our leadership in the UMC should demand it, because I can tell you those in the pews are already demending it.

I was hoping to have something special to show my congregation this week but unfortunately this is not it! Sorry.

  • yep... they are darling... but snoozin'

  • I'm sorry, but this is simply boring. I'm sure the couple is sincere, but there just isn't any fire or passion in what they are saying. Zzzzzzzz.
