  • i want to give them a piece of my fist i know stuff cant be conquered with violence but in this abuse case i dont give a hoot

  • OMG!!! these rodeo pple are fucking dumbasses.wen the horse was down, they shouldve oppened teh gate to let him up, not let the fucker on the horse pull him up, wat if the horse freaked out moure and tried to jump over the gate,or reared and get a hoof stuck??the ppl had no right to smack the horse, it just makes em more mad and scared, this all equal ANIMAL CRUELTY.dont think so?LOL then wat is hittin a horse for no reason, forcing it to do something with pain?? this is ridiculous

  • the doctor person is faliure.

  • You are unbelievable. They didn't break any rules. The horse was not injured. When a horse licks their lips, that means that they've figured out what you want. The slobbering is from bucking so hard. Some horses bawl and just throw a fit, while others are more placid and calm. Your organization is really just a waste of time. There was absolutely NO abuse here in this video. They needed to get the horse up because if they let the horse stay in the chute, he could hurt himself even more.

  • @BarrelsPolesandJack

    a... small question.

What do you really think when an animal jumps and squirms trying to escape in panic? Do you think that when an animal do this, an act like it's wild, that it's normal, that it's ok?

    I think not.

And any act involving stress to the animal, even if it is injuried or not, its cruel and abuse.

This people you see on the video have no respect to animals, and that is what SHARK is showing you. If you get it or not, that's the fact.

  • For the broken backed calves etc. there are screens to stop vunerable eyes from seeing the unpleasant side. So why manhandle them whatever injury they may have sustained when it would be humane to put them down immediately? What of the multiple footage I've viewed of injured animals taken out of the arena and hidden in a rear pen, no vet attenance, not evan a kind bullet to end suffering? Surprising considering the loyalty to guns, really!

  • Why, when certainly animals do get injured and killed in rodeo, do the vehement supporters scream how fabulous the animals are treated? Though there is some cover up within the horse racing industry about the numbers injured at least mostly they don't force broken legged horses out of pubic view.

  • ok i rodeo been around it my whole life and if u think that is animal abbuse ur wrong...the animals used at rodeo get take better care of then probley some of u people...and to me it doesnt look like th horse hit his head on the front of the chute. did u know that if a horse stays down for to long it can cause worst damage then them getting jerked up in the chute

  • cowgirlrenotx26: There's three little words no one in rodeo can seem to understand: open the gate.

  • Well then why not open the chute to release the horse? It's not exactly rocket science. Nobody is implying the horse should be dragged to it's feet, though it's telling a rodeo supporter would assume that to be the case.

  • @cowgirlrenotx26 You're an idiot if you think it's ok or justified to torture and torment animals, it is people like you who should not be near animals.

  • I saw this when i went there. it was really bad

  • nigga you are just so fucking dumb.! you dont know a damn thing about what your talking about, whenever i ride a bull i beat the crap out of it & spit on him! its just life you fucking gumba

  • This disgusts me .. This is absolutley not entertainment, this is animal abuse! How can people support this so called "sport"!? Sometimes I am ashamed to be a human ..

  • all you animal rights activists are certainly not cowgirls and cowboys. do you ride english on the weekends??? its not like you people actually appreciate all the work the american farmers and ranchers do for our economy. who puts food on your table? where do your clothes come from? something you all take for granted every day and dont even think about the hardships they cause for actual americans. all we suffer through and you try to take away all forms of our entertainment.

  • KatytheHorseGirl: Animal abuse is not legitimate entertainment.

  • yes it is, i sure as hell am entertained by it. competing in it and watching it. although i wouldnt call it animal abuse. those animals are treated better than i fucking am. plus they only work about 7 minutes a year.

  • KatytheHorseGirl: Please spare us the "7 minutes a year" nonsense. Y'all are the only ones ignorant enough to believe that.

  • bitch you need to shut the fuck up! How would you like it if we shocked with you with about 2000 vaults of electricity? How would you like to be gored and stabbed to death? How would you like to be abused every damn day of your life? Taken for granted and never appreciated for the pain and suffering those animals endure everyday just the pure entertainment of the sick people like you out there! Go fuck yourself, hopefully one day you'll get a taste of what they go through!

  • I agree with you. I'm against of this rodeo thing too. My church is having a rodeo event in a couple weeks. Its a shame for me that they are going to do this. Its a cruel sport. In fact i dont they should consider rodeo a sport. just a game in which they like to abuse animals. I'm not even attending to the rodeo event.

  • By the way a horses nose and face is the most sensitive part of it's body, and the rider probably didn't want to take it to the vet because he could get sewd lots of money from abusing the horse and not letting it go.

    Think about that!

  • I agree with SHARKonlineorg. If the horse doesn't want to buck why the fuck should he be there bucking, just to entertain people.

If people love animals and horses then why can't they just realize that it is hurting the horse, maybe not physically but probably mentally becasue he is made to do something.

Well next time we can just tie you to a rope and slam your fucken face on a steel pole you tell me what it feels like okay?

  • There is no way that horse was hurt. Have you even spent time around horses? I have seen numerous horses kick each other in guts HARD in play and it doesn't even phase them. Sure the guys were probably annoying but abusing? Also that licking is called licking and chewing, the horse is processing his thoughts. More than likely he was thinking "ok trying to lie down doesn't work".

  • jacksonholm: Here's the thought the horse was processing:

"Why did that a-hole just knock some of my teeth out?"

  • I have to agree with you! Irodeo every weekend I barrel race and there are bucking horses where i rodeo. Your right using your hat in FRONT of the horses is more annoying then hurting it! They have to get the horse up he could have gotten HURT by laying down. As far as The rider put his finger in his ear.. to me it looks like he was rubbing his ears! as far as pulling him foward there was nothing wrong with that the horse came up and foward it doesnt look like he hit his face!

  • "doesn't look like, doesn't look like..." ARE YOU BLIND?!

  • i dont see the cruelty there just trying to get him up those slaps dont even hurt him but get his attention

  • Even performing the most basic stockhandling it is only common sense that if an animal goes down in a holding pen or crush to simply open the side or gate, let them find their feet and get up. Considering they could have simply swung open the gate why on earth the incredible fuss, hitting, slapping, dragging and forcing at a clearly distressed creature? With ignorance comes cruelty.

  • I would like to know why you needed to add sean prater name into this video. He had nothing to do with it he got on and rodeo the horse that he had drawn. Also i have known sean long enough that he would not get on a horse that he thought was hurt in any way. So in my opion there was nothing wrong with the horse and he never hit the chute and that was the most safe way to get the horse to stand. you all need to resepect the cowboys getting on the horse enough to leave them out of it.

  • lifesaball: Mr. Prater could have demanded an end to the abuse this horse endured. He did not.

  • Ya horse abuse is cruel but the horse had fallen and they were hitting it to make it stand up i know i am a rodeo person and love animals

  • cowgirl: Open the gate.

  • lay off the vet!She is a good vet.Yeah it didnt look that bad from the stands i was there.I agree she was wrong but idk lay off her

  • i agreee with the beating part, but i never saw the head accually HIT the gate so hard...

I am so sick of seeing and hearin' about all this ABUSE shit. If this is so dam bad, then why not outlaw it??? Rodeo is so bad...it should be stopped...and comeon, stickin his finger in its ear... maybe he just wanted to giv eit some ass afterwards.... knock this shit off....DAM!!!

  • They had to get the horse up if they left him down he could have panicked and got cast resulting in him breaking his back or neck. How can you see on the video if his face was injured most horses salivate from their mouth when being worked and I'm sure it's no different for broncs... I don't think rodeo horses are abused they don't look like unhealthy underfed cruelty cases I think you all have to open your eyes a small bit and see that SHARK once again is exaggerating.

  • prestonwasntmad: You get the horse up by opening the gate and allowing him to leave, which is actually what the rules call for. Horses certainly may salivate, but nothing like this. This horse was injured after being rammed into the gate.

  • why are u picking on rodeos and not something else like dog fits or something rodeo is a greta sport an i don't see any of that shit hear in oregon

  • That is wrong and I never noticed it before, Well one time I was at a rodeo and I was in it I saw a young filly buching in the arena then suddenly she came at the gate I was near and broke her neck, I hought she was knocked out but my dad told me that she was dead. My heart broke and soon found out that her mother died the same way the year before. I hope people will stop the abuse and try harder to help the amazing animals that are here today.

  • Illinois Dept of Ag "vets" are known for their blindness. They see large dollar bills but not curelty to horses or animals. The veterinary profession ought to do some housecleaning. Of course, they never will....

  • those guys that hitting the horse should get a bullet between there eyes......and also that guy with the robe!

  • This is totally disgusting. I bet I never support or attend another rodeo of any sort or their sponsors. To Shark I appreciate all your efforts and support you 100 % !

  • I stand by you Shark and if they ban your video's they must take a look at why. They are hiding the abuse. Hiding the suffering. You are right they are wrong. This video must be shown to PETA, Humane Society, on TV. This has to stop. Keep up the good work. I honor what you are doing.

  • THAT POOR HORSE!! you can tell he's a sweet boy by the way that, after ramming his face into the metal, he just stands there with his ears half back. he's not mad, he's confused! it takes some idiot prick to poke his ear before he gets mad! ok......... i know that dude's name, i know his state... now all i need is my pistol so I can hit him in the face with it.

  • What you are seeing here is not even remotely connected the to afforementioned behavior. These people are the lowest of the low. Just plain base. It's quite obvious that they don't give two damns about what happens to these helpless animals. They think that they're tough. What they are is ignorant and without conscience.

  • In responding to the inforamation provided in these videos, I had mentioned once before, there are horses who do like bucking. It's usually limited and even my vet has said it usually has to do with stretching the muscles of the hind end as a type of warm up.

  • Some horses do like to buck, but that is not stretching....

What I don't get is why they abuse the face and neck of the horse. They clearly know very little about what they're doing. Pestering a horses face only makes him throw his head around. It is stomach, flank and back pain that will make a horse buck.

Bring on the day rodeo's are banned. Those horses all look like such wonderful, kind animals. The horses in these video aren't even remotely aggressive.
